Dropping youngest lad back to Uni. Only a local trip, but we were low on juice. This is the lowest we have dared to go.

Got back with this remaining:

Funnily enough, there were no changes to the audio warnings to charge, nor any urgency.
Never seen the green go amber. I guess it would soon go red and then go into turtle mode?

Have AA cover, but don't want to do that again....
 
At least you have a good opportunity for a real good balance, not sure if the trophy NEEDS a low to full charge like the LFP based ones but seeing as you are already there.

Deliberately ran mine down last night to see what would happen and with a view to doing a full balancing charge. Got down to 4%. GOM stopped displaying remaining miles at 10% ish and went into turtle mode at 5% and on the hill, I have to travel up to get home, I was gradually losing speed down to 20mph leaving both a squeaky bum and a feeling of total embarrassment. Fortunately there weren't many other cars around at the time but the thought of calling out the AA just 1/4mile from home due to a flat battery wasn't good 🤔😢
 
I'm only impressed if you have had the message flash up to pull over and park safely!

Had it once - half a mile from home, which is all downhill fortunately!!!
 
If you are comparing the Ohme mileage based on energy supplied with that from the car I suspect the answer is that the Ohme EVSE is estimating mileage based on the stated MG4 100% range. [~56.33/61.7 * 280 miles (as shown in my Ohme)].

It was more that the MG app was happy to state a full charge of 100%, yet Ohme says it still has 7% to go from a starting point of 5%.

Or is my maths up the creek?

Have I misunderstood?
 
I've found the MG4 SE model reassuringly accurate from around 50% SOC and below, attached are some examples

1) getting home after a 4 hr journey = no issues, After this photo, I did drive it around until zero, pulled up on the drive, but after that it wouldn't let me select drive, but was close enough to connect up the charger.

2) slightly more squeeky bum time when doing our round tour of the UK only using the tesla network (about a year ago) - Stratford on avon to highlands and back (I didn't quite do it, as at the time the west coast didn't have Gretna (and have a home in Cumbria), anyway this was getting to Harrogate? on the wayback.

I find that the car runs well until around 4%, and then acceleration gets limited, but it still runs fine.
