Anyone know if the left hand drive headlight is adaptable for right hand drive? I was sent the wrong one and the cut off line is in the middle instead of on the left where it should be. I moved all adjustments on headlight, only one I didn't see what it does is the one with the rod at the back.

Most modern LED headlights have a flat beam that don't need adjusting, I think the MG4 is the same.
It's not flat, in fact they are meeting in the middle as opposed to how they should be (going both to the same side); in fact they are forming a rectangle in the middle. Today was inspecting the reflectors and then new one does not reflect as much light as the old one, and it looks more yellowish .

I've searched and every response I've seen says it is a flat beam. Yours looks a bit strange as it has a lump in the middle. I'd be surprised if the headlights need deflectors when driving abroad as it seems to be less common on new cars. Maybe the OP should confirm with MG.

This comes up periodically, they are not flat but stepped. The stepped up bit is flat unlike the old lamps on cars that sloped up to the left from the centre (in RHD form). So they are handed for RHD and LHD MG4 Trophies (I don't know about the SE which has different lamps).

I don't know if they are flat or not, I looked in the manual and there is nothing, I would just be surprised if they weren't as nearly all modern LED lights are.

I got a bit confused on this thread, I thought the question was about driving abroad, I wasn't concentrating.

I just took a picture of mine, and they look really flat, no kick at all.

With adjustment I am able to get them flat I think. The right was untouched from factory and had the middle part go up so it wasn't flat but like this \______ . In my case there is the lump in middle because instead of being both like this \__ \__ they are opposed like this / \ .

Have they sent you a headlight unit for the SE instead of the Trophy?

The SE has Projector LED Headlights and the Trophy has Projector LED Headlights with reflective technology

I'd be asking for that lamp to be replaced.
Already had a problem with them. I have the SE headlight listed for sale here, as they didn't want it back as it would cost €200 to post, so I'm waiting. Maybe someone needs one cheap and I'll give it to him for €300. Doubt they are going to admit wrongdoing.
