Fuel consumption

Yes so did mine. Dealer representative checked the car-all ok but said such a reduction in MPG was what he was experiencing with the MG3 hybrid. Pity MG didn't point this pout on the sales material. Now weather has been warmer MPG improving

Jeff6.Yes I had to go to Gatwick from NW London and their wasn't mutch traffic and did it in 1 and a half hrs.Consumption went to 47 MPG.A slight improvement though the weather was still cold but the engine was able to warm up
properly.I think that it part of my problem doing short journeys. The engine doesn't get properly
warmed up and so use more fuel. But 63 to 45 is a big drop.

Agree big drop. Friends with other manufacturers hybrids do see reductions in MPG in cold weather but nothing like the level i have experienced with my MG3hybrid. Is this huge drop a quality problem or poor quality batteries?
I knew in cold weather consumption was going up.I didn't think as much as this.Have to live with it.
