Mal. 🙂👍

Hi Aussies.
I have just joined the forum, so not sure on protocols. Can I post a question in this forum, it seems to be unfiltered Aussie content. I'm in Sydney and looking for a supplier of OBD2 plug in widget and a matching Android app to monitor the car. Any recommendations out there ?

Aussie company with high quality products

Neerav regularly posts on the thread ..... here is a collection of his tried and recommended and I think there is a link to an OBD link thingy in there as well

And welcome to the Aussie section of the forum

If my car is getting efficiencies in the 14.5-17kWh/100km it is fine…under the perspective that my solar/battery system is giving me ‘free’ km, the effect is not seen in effective range and I’ll just note the variation in efficiency but not really try to do anything about it as there are lots of other factors affecting efficiency such as tyre pressure (varies a lot with temperature) and traffic/road conditions.

Hi

I am looking for a spare wheel / tyre and I see an MG4 at a wreckers not far from me, he has a spare tyre / wheel however it looks like it is the 17inch, the MG77 takes a 18inch, will this be an issue if I needed to put this spare tyre / wheel on if I get a puncture ?

I think so but would love to know for sure. How about you pop on around to the wrecker and get them to put it on one of the front wheels (they're the potential problem) to see.
You'd be doing us a community service ;)

If it doesn't, I can suggest the Braumach 18" space saver spare. It's what I eventually got.

Not cheap but comes with everything.

Probably will be an issue fitting over the Brakes. But actual driving wise, shouldn't be a problem the overall diameter of the 17"/18" wheels will be pretty much the same. Due to the tyre profiles. Would he let you try it on, by any chance. 🙂👍

Picked up my new to me MG4 Excite 64 today dealer demo with 16k on clock. Carscanner says 98.2% SOH at 80%

Did 400km drive today. we have a Model 3 and Y, prob drives between them. Suspension not as hard as the M3. Avg 16.5 not bad as hot up here
