Jaguar Type 00

It is a concept. But I like that it looks nothing like anything on the road, has road presence and will turn heads. It will probably take a similar shape to the Rolls Royce Wraith at production. Which a lot of people lauded years ago.

Among Jaguar owners, it's turning stomachs ...... How could such and iconic brand end up with even drawing something like that, forget about actually building one. The must have changed every worker in the assembly plant to allow it to be built and not burnt at the stake.

They claimed they stopped the production of the last of the line, the XF, in 2024, because it wasn't profitable ....... like they could sell something that looked like that :poop:

I guess I should get my XF V6 back up and running, it needs a keyfob and a start button, Pickles seems to have lost the Key Fob somewhere between it being photographed for the on line auction, and it being picked up by the car carrier ...... No idea what hoops I'll have to jump through to get these items and get them functional ...... but with the steaming pile of :poop: being presented to the general public, my XF must have doubled in value ;):D

I was in a pub several months ago, around 10 jaguar workers sat on the next table.
Talk got round to the new jag and their response was " we have been emailed that if anyone is heard, or reported, talking bad about the new design that they will face disciplinary.

They were deadly serious. :oops:
 
I have a theory that there's a secret competition among manufacturers to see just how ugly they can make a car and still manage to sell it.
 
Looks like they dragged the designer of the Chrysler Crossfire out of his retirement home. And we all know how JC described the rear of that car ;)

Looks like by the time the doors had opened wide enough to get in the seats would be soaking wet in any kind of rainy weather
 
I'm not a fan but I can see why they have done this.

The brand was dying so they need to do something radical to get attention and a new generation of consumers/idiots to buy their cars.

Sales numbers? Who was buying? How much sales did they make? Everyone talks but the people complaining the most arent the customers and will never buy a jag.

That organ doesn't quite look right with those wheels, it needs spoke wheels ...... and the black part across the front and the grille, still needs to be chrome or polished alloy or something similar .....
