Is there an official way to hide the Similar Threads section? When viewing on a mobile device it means a much longer scroll to reach the breadcrumb navigation.
(I'm aware that I can hide various elements using filters in an ad blocker).

In case anyone is interested in blocking the Similar Threads section, these are the filters you need to add to your ad blocker:
Deleted - don't do it, as it blocks the entire list of threads in the board.

Push notifications are alerts which are pushed to your device even when not viewing the forum.
So on a mobile phone, for example, you might get a notification that someone has replied to a thread you are watching.
You can manage your alerts via your account preferences page.
There is no addon which allows members to turn off similar threads. I expect one will be created before long, at which time, I will purchase it for use here and on AVForums.
