MG3 Hybrid+ Trophy
Hello everyone
Just bought an mg3 hybrid plus trophy last week.
Can anyone help with spare wheel and jack as I'm old school and must have these
Also is the plastic cap remover supplied for the wheel nuts

Hi @leslie, welcome to MGEVs, there should be a plastic wheel cap remover in the boot.

Hi Leslie
You will have to live with the puncture kit unless you are also considering relocating the battery.

I suppose you could live with the spare wheel permanently in the boot if you so wished.

If, you should be unlucky enough to get a puncture the kit will (should) get you on your way in less than 15 minutes.

You can also call out the AA if required.

I would usually say that punctures aren't that common, but I've had two in two years which I quickly repaired myself.

Try ebay.
You might find something suitable.

Thanks for that it's food for thought
What about a jack if I wanted to paint calipers

I don't mess about!

In case you are unaware, when these supplied emergency pump-up kits are used, your tyre repair guy will throw the tyre away instead of washing it out.
Although very handy to get at its a shame MG never found another place to put that battery, especially as the spare wheel recess is there already!

Just googled the mg3 hybrid plus and several different sites said 36 litres.
So I'm presuming that's correct. 🙂

Edit. MGs own site also says. 36 litres. 👍
