You could probably go for colour coded door protectors and keep the sills black, they better match the lower section of the front bumper, but also leaves less of a mismatch to the rear bumper.Hey,
While I really like the look of the MG4, the plastic on the doors really does seem to take something away overall. My door sills are already slightly scratched where I've accidentally brushed my shoes up against the plastic while getting in and out.
I'm seriously thinking about getting a bodyshop (once they have the paint colour codes) to quote me on getting these plastics painted (they'd need to be sanded to remove the texture).
I've made a mockup using Photoshop (I'm not the best, but you get the idea) using a random photo I found online.
What do you guys think about this look? To me it's a real improvement. And I think the added protection of the paint/lacquer will save from any potential damage from shoes.

Not keen on the look glossy black plastics and they'd show the scuffs and scratches.Back to the plastics, china have a luxury model, I think. It comes with gloss black plastics all round with silver highlights. Still undecided myself.
Definitely not ideal, just picked up my first mark on the bodywork by opening the drivers door against the garage wall today ? Luckily the fisher price plastic trim at the bottom absorbed the knock rather than the painted section, not really noticeable being non -shiny.Not keen on the look glossy black plastics and they'd show the scuffs and scratches.
