There are curtains airbags in the rear, but I don’t know if they trigger independently from the fronts.

Isn’t it still just easier to fasten the seatbelts if you have parcels on the back seat?
Plus all that fossil fuel is also being transported by massive ships and diesel trucks to get from the oil fields to the petrol station. So there is so much more pollution involved beyond just the tail pipe emissions of any singular ICE car.
The only sense I see in cars with 500 miles of range is for people who cannot charge at home, for instance in high density urban areas. That way you can go and charge every now and again away from home like with ICE cars. But really when you live in such high density areas a lot of stuff is...
I don’t think they mention swapping seats specifically, but you may find some useful nuggets of info in these threads;

I have a similar guilty pleasure, when I’m on the freeway and about to overtake a slow 4x4 Ute (pick up), they sometimes (often actually) start speeding up ( I suspect because they can’t stand being overtaken by an EV). I often just let the cruise control hold me steady because eventually they...
This is why I really like that the MG4 shows its colour on the inside of the cabin. Just a few bits from the door (and I can see the edge of the bonnet too), it's nice to see the colour you paid for, instead of just all black plastic.
MG4 is my first EV as well, it is worth noting though that this thread originated in the MG4 subforum, so that may also explain why so many responses are from MG4 owners.
I used to worry about these things, but then I realised I don’t have any kids and I won’t have any kids, and so many people with kids don’t do anything to keep the plant habitable, so why should I try? Now I just drive electric because it is better than ICE cars.
Besides, even with global...
I’m joining the club! I had an appointment after work so put my work bag (with my keys in there) in the boot which opened as expected without unlocking the car. Then I shut the boot, the car locked itself, I walk to the driver door and press the button, nothing happens. I swear under my breath...
The thing that I find a little worrying is that when I have cruise control active and let go of the steering wheel, I get a gentle warning to hold the wheel, then a louder warning to do the same, and after that it cancels the lane keep assist, but keeps the emergency function active, as well as...
Sounds like the 22nd of Jan was an instance of Emergency Lane Keep, not just the lane keep assistant. The assistant tries to keep you between the lines, beeping at you when too close to a line, and tugging the wheel a bit. The Emergency Lane Keep yanks the wheel hard because it believes you are...
In my case (which I think is similar to other cars) the car software takes a little while to get up and go, and some dongles stop trying to connect to the car before the car is ready. Setting the delay is telling the dongle to wait before trying to connect with the car, giving the car time to...
I see what you mean, I think the lines should be viewed as vertical though, in which case they look the same back or front.

I’ve decided my next car will definitely have to have ventilated seats. Of course they seem to come with more and more cars after I bought my MG4, at least I get to cool it down before I have to drive it through the iSMART app.
