Is it possible to try another dealership? Perhaps there you might find someone more knowledgeable and/or willing to fix this. You’ll probably have to pay for that though, I doubt they’ll fix someone else’s mistakes for free. Although maybe they can claim it through MG, seeing as it is “faulty”...
Apple CarPlay needs a data cable, not just any cable will do.
I can’t determine whether you have (another) new iPhone or if your are new to iPhone, so I’ll also mention that for the car to be able to see your iPhone you need to be in the Bluetooth menu, otherwise an iPhone will hide itself from...
If you have a road that allows you to do this safely, switching the car to neutral whilst driving and then braking also uses friction brakes, as there is no regen in neutral. Same goes for reverse gear.
Can’t belief you didn’t take the chance to show off your nifty light setup @MG Clive ;)

Sometimes the weight of the CCS charging plug also messes with the locking mechanism (for locking anyway). Holding it up may make it easier for the locking pin to retract.
Also might want to check out this thread (not sure if it is exactly the same as what happened to you)

I don’t think the dealer can check diagnostics remotely. I would get them to look into it if only to ease your mind a bit.
I had a conrod escape through the side of the block in the RCZ once, even thought the replacement engine was newer it made me hesitant to drive for a good while after...
You are correct. EcoFlow sell a grounding connector, but that doesn't work with their newer/current models, and I don't really fancy spending a few thousand dollars on this anyway.
Thank you (and @T1 Terry ) for your input :)
Thanks for the input. We’ll have a house and shed in about six months so I’m not going to set a bunch of stuff up. I’m thinking maybe I’ll just have to get one of those battery generators I think. Maybe with some of those fold out solar panels.
So basically any appliance that needs an earth...
If the honourable members will allow me to resurrect an old thread;
I received my electric UTV today, and was hopeful to charge it from my MG4 using the V2L. Both the supplied trickle charger, as well as the MG trickle charger came up with a fault indicating “ungrounded”. I think there has been...
I find that sometimes the app is worried about you being the rightful owner (or whatever it is worried about) and needs you to unlock the car using the key fob. I’ve had two instances where I needed the app to work for me and the response was something along the lines of “I’m not doing anything...
Mine only really opens when I run the A/C. But it just opens once, then closes after the A/C turns off.
If it constantly opens and closes there may be a faulty sensor somewhere?
I use a Carlinkit 5.0 mini with a 30 second delay.
This thread mentions heaps of dongles, I know it says CarPlay but most work for AA as well.
