You are correct. EcoFlow sell a grounding connector, but that doesn't work with their newer/current models, and I don't really fancy spending a few thousand dollars on this anyway. Thank you (and @T1 Terry ) for your input :)

Mine only really opens when I run the A/C. But it just opens once, then closes after the A/C turns off. If it constantly opens and closes there may be a faulty sensor somewhere?
