I will be happy if I can get a date ideally by the end of 2024 but certainly within ninety days. I think the difficulty will arise from the fact that they want to keep it on their books for six months. I expect it can all be settled amicably. I cannot dispute that the car and price are both...
Google says it translates as "strong and weak current room" (similar to the sign) so I guess we need someone who actually understands Chinese.. Maybe it is warning of low and high powered devices but I found the apparent contradiction amusing.
EDIT: On reflection I wonder if "strong" could...
It strikes me as pretty awesome. I am tempted to do it in order to get the LKA assist toggle. However I would prefer for dealers to be more forthcoming. MG really needs to make getting SW updates something that is less painful for dealers and customers. They would get much better...
These are good points. I think the issue for me is that I go to bed early and get up early so I don't usually see 11PM. Although I do sleep badly and could go down in the middle of the night and put things on then although I wouldn't plan on sleeping badly but it does happen most nights.
I would rather sleep. For me a cheap overnight tariff enables moving to a heat pump for the house and accelerates the move to being a two EV household.
Excellent. Thank you. I will use that.
"After a long time driving you may notice". I noticed it after doing about 60 miles! :ROFLMAO: I reckon I'd have noticed it if I looked earlier.
I assume I don't have to wait a year for my service and can just book it in under warranty.
I am wondering does "not safety related" just mean...
1. we don't need to actively pursue customers to upgrade
OR
2. we are not liable if something goes wrong
OR
3. You have to pay for this upgrade?
20% to 45% on a Trophy 150kW supercharger. It was the warmest part of the day at 12°C and just after a fifty mile drive but that's not exactly hot weather so maybe temperature was the issue.
SOLVED: Another driver arrived as I was starting charging and looked at all the empty bays and chose the...
I used my first Supercharger today at Dundee and it was a nice experience with no queues etc in my MG4 Trophy LR. I had expected faster but was flatlining at 70kW. I am on R40 (i.e. original phase 2 software). Is this a software issue or something else?
I was stupid enough to drive past...
What is the current official release of the phase 2 Trophy software? My dealer is telling me that R40 is the latest. I am hoping for some improvements as I am having bother with LKA but otherwise I don't have any other software issues that I have noticed.
I will do. I also noticed that there is one of those "hang me on a nail" things on the back of the granny charger. I will look later but I may just have a wooden stud in reach. Sadly, due to dumb mode meter I cannot access any lovely overnight tariffs but if they introduce 4G meter upgrades I...
Hi,
I had a wee look under my new MG4 Trophy and noticed this gap. I am not sure if that is the undertray or some kind of trim as it's so far back. However what do you make of it? Would warranty cover this? I am sure people have had much worse but I want to start perfect and not have any...
It certainly did. It's a decidedly chilly 7°C now and will get down to 4C tonight. I realise single digit daytime temperatures are coming but it's amazing how quickly we have swung from decidedly warm to this.
I am off to Halfords as the MG granny charger is short and had to hang from the...
To update on what happened once I got an MG4. As the battery was about half full and I am off to Bridge of Allan tomorrow I have taken the opportunity to do a battery friendly trickle charge to 70%. I am at 65% now and the socket and plug have no perceptible warmth. Which surprised me as I...
When I learned yesterday I went onto my insurance policy website and changed my answers from:
1. Registered keeper is me
2. I own the vehicle
...to...
1. Registered keeper is a "Company" (their drop down answer)
2. I own the vehicle (unchanged)
... so I believe I am okay with insurance. The...
