Well, I dood it. It isn't a 100% perfectly aligned joint, but it feels rock solid. I put glue on, held it together, then, as glue oozed out around the joint, I dusted it with Bicarb. Feels solid as a rock, but the instructions say leave it 24 hours to achieve full hardness (Oooh err...
