I have a confession now. Despite all I have said, I did think the car looks very well wearing the grey and fancied it, but was overruled by the Chief Obergruppenführer.....

I had a new Octavia in 2002 and silver was the colour to have at that time, but I think it looks dated these days. A bit like Leyland's chocolate brown from the 70s.... I think today's greys (especially the battleship shades) will be seen as awfully outmoded in a decade or two.

I'm not a fan of white or black on a car, nor do I like very dark colours. Correction, I like dark colours, but not on a car.

My neighbour directly opposite has a Mazda in a similar shade. It is subtly different (slightly darker?) and I prefer the MG colour.

I'm quite old-fashioned. My first car did not have CL, EW, PAS, AC, or ABS, let alone the driver "aids" fitted today. They gradually trickled down into my cars from the late 90s onwards. I don't see these systems as crucial. I view them like I view other gizmos, whether on your car or...

Saw this on MGs website. Would this help customers to get redress regarding issues with software updates and problems with LKA etc...?
