It was launched globally according to press release at Geneva Motorshow 26th February 2024 so there is unlikely to be any newer updates.
i’ve found with previous cars (not MG’s) that they tend to do maybe 1 or 2 a year at best. So what you have I would think will be the most upto date currently...
This only currently list the MG3 2023 which will be the previous model MG3. The new model wasn’t launched until Feb’ 2024. This is probably why you haven’t been able to update and MG services don’t know.
Collecting MG 3 trophy on 21st October. It is replacing a Renault Arkana Hybrid Esprit Alpine (only 8 months old). Although not had any faults yet, there are to many major faults reported for my liking and my lack of luck. Also many minor annoyances with the software.
Ordered these tyre valve caps from Ali-express……I was £1.50 short of free shipping (which would have cost £1.99) on another unrelated item I ordered. Order arrived 4 days ahead of estimate?
Like MG Clive has said, I’ve also seen videos from 2-3months ago with the split seats and two tone light interior from other regions (Thailand/China).
Personally not bothered about split seats…..think in previous vehicles only used them 3-4 times total. Also back seat of car is having dog...
Works out to 68.89mpg ….this of course is in summer months as video was done in New Zealand. Still very good figure which I would be happy with in U.K. (during summer).
So therefore same applies also to the other 3 usb sockets in car (2 front console and 1 rear) as they are all run off the same fuse as rear view mirror USB and therefore the statement in the manual ‘Using the power socket or USB port when the vehicle is not running will cause premature...
This is where I’m getting my confusion also with the centre console usb sockets (question asked earlier this month) …..Manual says using usb sockets with engine off will drain battery… BUT if there is no power to usb sockets when engine off how can the battery drain?
Thanks for reply. I know that there is a false floor with the 12V battery and small storage.. I however want to reduce the size of the boot edge lip and the step up to the back seat (when folded) so I need the dimensions (length and width) of the boot when the back seat is up.
Whilst I’m waiting for my MG3 HYBRID+ trophy to arrive (hopefully end October?), I wonder if someone with a new MG3 HYBRID+ could measure the size of the boot (length and width) with the back seat in the upright position. I’m thinking of making a false floor and could do with getting the...
Thanks for this.. it seems the Manual contradicts itself, with the 3rd warning down suggesting discharge of battery when vehicle not running but then in details says vehicle needs to be ACC/ON/READY to use sockets.
Currently waiting for my MG3 hybrid + in Hampstead Grey to arrive (been told end October (hopefully??)).
But I was wondering if anyone already with there MG3 hybrid could tell me if the 2 USB sockets (USB A and USB C) and the 12V socket in the centre console are live when the car is switched off?
Maybe turn off regen (or set to minimum (1)) for a short journey. You’ll have to then use the brakes more (instead of regen doing the braking) This should then clear any brake disc rust quite quickly.?
I’ve just ordered my MG3 so cannot personally say what winter MPG will be. I would guess also it will be difficult for others as the hybrid MG3 was only launched this last February, so no one has driven it through a winter yet.
My current hybrid (not an MG) I lose between 5-10mpg in the winter...
