    EV storage/lay-up

Living in southern Spain, in the country, each summer from May-September we go north in our motorroam to seek out cooler climes. In the past a neighbour has popped in every month or so and moved our old diesel Citroen C4 around the garden from one patch of shade to another, rotating the tyres...

    Unknown beeping

To get to the bottom of this, I've turned all I can "off". We think we've only occurs on m'ways - we'll be on one tomorrow so we'll see if it's gone away. If yes, I'll turn stuff back on one at a time ... The beeps are variable, the most we've heard is 23 .....

    MG iSMART - secondary account

Successfully bound my phone to the car the day we got it a couple of weeks ago. Time to set up a secondary account for the Navigator. Asked her to install MG iSMART on her phone and "register", but the process seems to demand that she bind her phone to the car. My understanding is that only one...

What an excellent design feature ...

Yes, I understand that, but it has opened of it's own volition and the fob has dropped off my keyring without me noticing. Other keyfobs I've had the split ring is attached to an immovable part of the fob, the emergency key access via another mechanism ....

    UK overnight power costs ..

It's coming up to 5 years since we left the UK for Spain, I'm curious to know what folk are paying for 'cheap rate' electricity nowadays. Not dedicated EV charging rates, general overnight costs. Anyone ?

    Navigation - planning charging stops.

I'll mostly be slow charging at home with a granny cable utilising excess solar and overnight grid power. With a nominal, pinch of salt, 440km range I'll not need commercial chargers often so I don't want to clutter my phone with a plethora of apps. I would sign up for EasyCharge but they want a...

    Navigation - planning charging stops.

Just getting to grips with the car I've had for 3 days ... We live in Cartagena, Spain and planning a trip to Seville, @5hrs & 550km distant. Asking the car's navigation system for a route gives me one and helpfully overlays the car's projected range on the map, which I thought a neat touch...
