When I’ve had problems connecting using the app for a long period I’ve found sitting in the car and holding down the home button on the infotainment system until it restarts fixes the problem.

My understanding is that the V4 superchargers they are rolling out and also selling to other operators have contactless. Could be wrong though. Never used a supercharger.

Does anyone know if the Lifton ones have contactless working? I’ve seen people moaning on Zapmap (I think) that the signal is really poor there and they had to go into the shop and use the WiFi to start the charge.

Welcome! I’ve had mine not charge if the car is unlocked. After lock it normally starts after about 30 seconds. If it was in battery care mode it would stop at 80% not 72% so it won’t be refusing until it goes below a certain level.

Yeah mine does this but resetting the infotainment fixes it for a few times after starting the car. The easiest way around it is to use the app to turn on the heating before getting in the car. If I do that it pauses when I start the car but only for a few seconds.

Mine had no outside temperature in the car but R33 fixed it. The app showed the exterior temperature on R21. Was just missing on the infotainment.

Mine said they normally charge for updates but did mine to R33 under warranty as I had no outside temperature display. They only had it 3 hours and was only waiting 2 weeks for it to go in. Wasn’t the dealer I got the car from either. Baylis MG Gloucester.

From what I’ve read it looks like you are setting charge schedules in the car and the Ohme app. You will get in a right pickle doing that! Turns off all schedules in the car and just set the Ohme app to the % you want to add for the time you want it added. You can set a charge limit in the car...

Well I suppose if they did put the wrong CCU in with the correct charge port it wouldn’t charge at 11kW. You could try charging on a 3 phase charger and see what happens! Worst case it would fry something and you’d get a fast diagnosis!!
