It will depend on what you start at % wise if you start @ 20% you find the charge will deliver any thing from 40kw to 50kw and on this you will charge 80% in about 45 minutes. I did a charge at Gridserve the other day 40% to 87% in 37 minutes running @ 39kw to 41kw in put.
Thank you I can confirm from that it’s the older software and hardware, from memory they did a small face lift took the sunroof away to keep the price down and changed the grille and small change to the window information screen but did not charge the system to what’s fitted to all MG have now...
It’s not the one I was thinking of, but the car is older than the registration date probably made late 22 or early 23 before the faced lift which they changed to the hardware and software which is now installed in all MG. I had a 21 plate but was built in late 20 so know this car inside out.
Bad news you may have a car registered in 2023 but the car in older and has the older software and hardware so you do not have the smart system.
You probably got the sun roof and electric closing boot.
You only get one with the car, but you may get one cut at a locksmith or you could get one from MG.
If you have the updated information screen on the app can you unlock the car and use the smart key to start the car, I done this a number of time to move the car around on the drive.
Thanks I know that, but over the years been on here there have been many people caught out by 12V batteries failing through not monitoring the voltage drop, the car will do the day to day but has no way to tell you the battery is failing and then the day you need the car it failed.

You have to buy them separately not included, get mats from car mats I got a rubber cover for the boot when I had a HS and fit was excellent, also recommended you look on the MG website for service plan.
Hi
Now had a look at the garage report it was not a battery that need to be recoded but the on board charger ( OBC) that needed recoded, it could not see the battery and would not charge the battery. There could be a problem with the OBC which could be intermittent but if this need to be...
I helped many people with the same problem, I have never known a battery on any car need to be coded to the car parts yes.
I can not open your attachments on my phone but will try on my pad later.
From what you say the battery after replacement would not charge.
EV type cars do not have...
