This topic was being discussed in another post about dynamic cruise control and traffic sign recognition but I think it needs a separate thread. I have found that using the intelligent speed limiter appears to disable the brake regeneration. I have the regeneration always set to 3, so perhaps it...
It does have it's limitations, the TSR frequently says it is 50 in a 30 limit, but like all the systems you need to keep an eye on what's happening and disengage any system that is not responding correctly. As I said in another reply the intelligent speed limiter is half way there but then you...
Exactly? But to be fair we can argue all day about the pros and cons and there is no right or wrong to it, I'm old enough to remember when seat belts were first introduced and the furore that caused, yet we wouldn't be without them now, same with airbags. But I also agree it shouldn't be...
We have some 10mph limits in the UK, so that could be a problem, and I'm sure there are other situations that would cause problems, but the system could just disengage when it is faced with those instances. I also listed s post on the accuracy of TFR and his it misses changes, but anything...
I think it would be a game changer for MG if the Dynamic Cruise Control (DCC) and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) systems worked together to automatically adjust speed in response to changing traffic signs. Integrating these two systems would significantly enhance driver convenience and safety...
Like you I tried loads of apps to get UV to work properly and found that the combination of Musicolet app on my phone for music and Magic Earth app for sat/nav worked best with Android Auto
Put your music into your phone and then select if through Android Auto so when you changed to Google maps it will continue to play. Plugging a usb into the charging socket (although ug will play) confuses the cats set up
Another plus in using Auto play is that you can use playlists
Previous was a Peugeot 297 sport 1.6 hdmi, had it for nearly15 years from new, great car only done 63k miles, only reason to change was that we change every 10 years but pushed this back due to the pandemic when nothing was certain. So we were thinking of what to get for next March 2025 and test...
I have tried a 256gb usb with films on in mp4 format in my new MG3 Hybrid using the left hand data socket. It works ok but the video is quite small, even after pressing full screen. All my videos are 720, do I need to change them to 1080?
I've been driving for 50 years and never come across this before. Other local drivers I know have said the same and apparently they can't be adjusted, so as you say, well just have to get used to it
You're lucky
I agree, very useful, which is why I'm trying to find out what's happening and if it can be fixed
That's by far the best possibility yet
Back in 2010 Ford put speed recognition as an option into a Focus and it worked perfectly well. The technology and quality of cameras are 20...
It should work, but many times it doesn't. There are a lot of stories of it picking up the wrong speed limit from Wheelie bins with numbers on (or any sign with white lettering), side road speed limits in error. I suppose it's trying to do it's job, but on a straight major road I travel it mises...
New MG3 Hybrid. Unless your turning is not virtually right angles the indicators do not self cancel, very noticeable on roundabouts. Anyone know his to fix that, or is if a workshop thing
