Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 Install

That looks good as it drops down the camera view, a friend of mine suggested a stickon slimline one but it just cut everything if to the right. What is the make of your dash cam

Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 Install

Does anyone have a suggestion for the most suitable dash cam to fit to the MG3 hybrid. And also the best place to fight it. I've tried and and the the central of the screen, taken up by the forward camera housing, obscures the view

MG3 Hybrid+ Wiki - Hints, Tips and Solutions

The key is to see the green ready on the display. The car is bristling with electronics, so basically it needs to boot up like a computer and won't respond until it says Ready. All logical I suppose.

But why would a CVC system present such a problem anyway?

MG3 Hybrid+ Wiki - Hints, Tips and Solutions

I think a slight delay before engaging Drive or Reverse sounds to be the solution. We always select eco mode and check that regeneration is set to high before moving. We encountered the 'frozen' problem for the first time yesterday because we were just moving the car a short distance in a car...

I agree it does sound a bit bonkers. Let's hope it's not a common occurrence ?

MG3 Hybrid+ Wiki - Hints, Tips and Solutions

Did you ever find out why it did that. We've just git a new MG3 hybrid and it did the same to us today, we had to switch it off and on twice before we could engage reverse, really strange and disconcerting

Which is best to use the built in MG Navigation or Android Auto

I told you I was looking into the inbuilt Navigation and I got a reply from MG support on how to do this. Bascially with a new MG 3 you get 7 years free updates to Europe. To do this is a little bit jumping through hoops, the dealer would charge you for this I'm sure. Anyway if you are...

Which is best to use the built in MG Navigation or Android Auto

Ok, I have checked this out this morning, this is what I get, whether I just open it or voice search it just gives this screen, as you can see there is no link to Contacts. So now I have all the ones I need to use on a regular basis in Favourites.

Which is best to use the built in MG Navigation or Android Auto

I made sure all permissions were set ok The apps were definitely set up correctly as they all worked fine on my Android phone, it's just that egg you connect to Android Auto they will not show onscreen, only favourites show up. No time today but I'll take a screen shot tomorrow so you can see...

Which is best to use the built in MG Navigation or Android Auto

I could only get that to work if my contacts were stored in Favourites, which is why I have gone through all the other stuff, I agree that it goes off to search contacts but then a screen comes up with Favourites that I have to click on to select, sort of defeats the point of voice control. I...

Which is best to use the built in MG Navigation or Android Auto

I'll certainly try them out. Thanks ? I tried NuNav but no good as it needs an Internet connection (Mobile Data) which I won't pay for, I prefer the free offline maps. Filsmeister won't access my Contacts in search and nags you with ads. So, I have tried them but no go. IN conclusion and...

Which is best to use the built in MG Navigation or Android Auto

Thanks for the warning. I also found that what3words gets its coordinates wrong, Sygic will use coordinates for obscure places that don't show up in normal searches, so you can find a place in what3words and it also gives the coordinates which you copy and paste into Sygic SBC I found a few...

Which is best to use the built in MG Navigation or Android Auto

Further update - I tried the apps suggested, Tomtom Go but as you say I have to pay again, which really grinds as I already have a paid version, so I'm not going that route. Amigo needs a data connection so that's a no-no. I'm still testing Magic Earth but I think I have resolved to use the MG...

Which is best to use the built in MG Navigation or Android Auto

Thanks Italy for your comments. I have decided to ditch Google Maps, I was concerned about going down that route because of security concerns, I have never shared my contacts with Google but thought I would relenet to try it out but I couldn't get Google Maps to use thier own Google Contacts...

Couldn't find the manage linked services option, not surprised as Google are forever changing their links and layout.
