I only occasionally have this problem but I do have the AC running most of the time which dries the air before it enters the car keeping the moisture level down.

Which MGS5 have you got? Only the LR versions can change the % of charge. If yours has the LR battery open the app, scroll down and tap EV Management, tap the nut shaped icon at the top right, tap the downward arrow for Target Battery Level then scroll and Confirm
