Can you try a different make of phone? There seems to be quite a few people on Reddit and elsewhere having problems with Honor phones and Android Auto.

I have exchanged my MG4 for a MGS5 but despite the car's charging problem I would have gotten another MG4 if I hadn't developed osteoarthritis in my knees especially if the updated version has a similar interior to the MGS5.

It sounds like it. There was a batch of MG4s that had a problem with AC charging, mine was one of them and again with the passenger door button not working. It looks like MG has quality control problems with some of their suppliers.

You could always try another dealer if there's one near you.

At the moment MG doesn't do Over The Air updates so it will say there aren't any. Hopefully your dealer will get back to you and book you in for a software update.

This is mine with everything selected apart from Multimedia. One thing I have noticed is that the navigation doesn't show anything until the route is selected and running. I guess it's the same with multimedia in that it doesn't show any information until the radio, USB or Bluetooth is actually...
