Mine does the same. It also did it in my MG4.

Make sure it's compatible with MG's as they need a different value resistor to tell the car it's a discharge plug not a charging one. I'd also be cautious about buying one that seems too cheap as it might not meet the UK safety requirements and it'd be embarrassing if it overheated or gave you...

The corners are covered by the front camera and the cameras under the door mirrors. Have you tried parking with the 360 camera?

I don't think we will be getting that version in Europe. They did a similar thing with the MG4 for the Asian market.

I had a Ford Focus with front sensors but I don't miss them on the MGS5 and often use the 360 view when parking with no problems.

I've not had that but try pulling the seat-belt out a bit slower

According to Auto Trader on a 150kW charger the MG4 takes 34 minutes to 80% and the MGS5 takes 32 minutes. And according to MG's own website a 10% to 80% charge takes the MG4 on a 50kW charger 52 minutes and 30 minutes on a 150kW charger. The MGS5 takes 106 minutes and 28 minutes respectively...
