It's the yeast the slimy things like so a bit of dried yeast mixed with water in a container buried up to its lip in the ground will do the same thing without wasting beer or Marmite.
You are correct but I'm the second owner as the car was a pre registered with 5 miles on the clock. It might have cost me £185 extra for the VED but I saved nearly £10k on the list price.
I know what you mean about the sound. My brother used to let me borrow his Stag and the sound of the 3.0 litre V8 through the stainless steel exhausts with the roof down.....
I've found the TPS readings on both my old MG4 and the MGS5 settle down after a few months. It's almost as if they need running in.
I've got an accurate pressure gauge which I check the pressures after using my tyre pump. I now know I have to put in a couple more psi than indicated on the pump.
I had an MG4 with no rear wiper and it didn't need it. The rear projecting light bar and the rake of the back window must have killed the low pressure area behind the car.
It's interesting looking at what cars the contributors to this thread drive. Most of you have or have had an MG4.
I wonder for how many of you the MG4 was your first EV?
I had always promised myself my first new car when I retired and the government was pushing the green agenda and the sale of new ICE cars would be banned in 2030.
Apart from being green and the performance of EVs, part of my thinking was that used EVs would be worth more than the equivalent...
