The Trophy has a clear acrylic light bar instead of the black ducktail on the SE and LR versions.
On my Trophy I've found MeGuiar's Ultimate Liquid wax works well all over the car including hiding the faint marks on the clear lighting bar and the black side panels. It's not cheap and to avoid...
If you look at your V5 it says "You must tell us immediately if you have sold or transferred your vehicle" which includes to a motor trader. You can do this on-line (Tell DVLA you've sold, transferred or bought a vehicle) they will refund the outstanding complete months of your road tax.
If you tap the charging tile on the infotainment screen then select the Discharge Settings tab you can move the slider to limit the % that the car will allow the traction battery to go down to. It's usually used for when you are using V2L to make sure you have enough juice to get home.

It seems some cars keep the 12 V battery charged up when left and others don't. I wonder if there's a software update that has been applied to some and not others.
Some on here have speculated that the car needs to be above a certain SoC but I've just had another thought. Could it be related...
I was taught the same and I still apply the handbrake when I stop for longer than a few seconds.
Back to your seat belt problem. I tried to replicate it in my car using both the hand brake and the parking brake. At no time did it ask for the seat belt to be fastened. Your car has a fault and...
You can't beat a 60 year old concrete drive with a few cracks and covered in patina. No dents when using a jack and no worries from fluid leaks... the car not the driver.
When my CCU failed it failed within a couple of charges and it would only put a few watts into the battery when I tried the "charge now" option before stopping.
Can you try someone else's AC charger just to rule out that it's not your charger causing the problem?
@meandi sometimes you need to take the weight of the charging cable off the charging port by lifting the cable slightly. This allows the top pins which communicate with the charger to engage properly. Once the charger has got the information, which only takes a second, you can let go.
Here's...
Is it an SE or LR? If it's the LR have you inadvertently set the charging limit to a low percentage?
Have you got a friend or neighbour that will let you charge your MG4 on their charger just to discount that it is your charger?
Rant alert.
This is not aimed at anyone in particular,
If this forum, or ones like this, didn't exist owners wouldn't know that software upgrades were available unless they had a problem and reported it to the dealer.
If they were non the wiser they'd be happy with the car instead of...
It'll be interesting to see what they find.
They will either do a lot of software updates or just disconnect the 12v battery for a few minutes to rest everything.
I think it's the clear plastic piece being deformed that has caused the battery to drain too especially as the key seems to work OK otherwise. If it was the circuit board in my opinion it would either work or it wouldn't. (I'm sure @Everest will correct me 😁)
You can get just the shell...
