I’m wondering if the battery was cooling down as it was balancing: as the battery gets colder, the voltage lowers too.
Maybe that new BMS now takes that into account
The mg3, I think, has a more advanced/improved version of the MG4 lane keeping and traffic jam assist options. IIRC when the mg3 was launched there was talks of this upgrade to be made available on the mg4 too at a later date, but I wonder if the mg4 isn’t quite at the same level still, possibly...
I wonder if it’s old stock? Latest software/firmware upgrades have improved the experience massively so that will take care of many things including the LKA if they apply the latest service campaign.
The paint issues hopefully they will address properly but depending in environmental factors...
You mean the Nazi salute?
I suspect he’s a covert racist but that’s just my opinion. Wouldn’t stop me buying the new Model Y if I were in the market for it.
I don’t associate him with the company’s products.
I change coasting regen to 1 when driving in slippery conditions like below 0C, especially if it’s very wet/heavy rain at the time.
Generally I drive with it set to 3.
On country lanes I find 2 the better overall setting especially in conjunction with Sport mode. Sometimes regen level 3 can be...
You are indeed correct.
It tries to detect headlights/taillights whether it’s a car a motorbike or even a bicycle.
Although on occasion bicycle lights are not detected as well as others.
Is the charger active? Is the battery fully balanced?
When I opened the car today after work, it was equalising the battery. I only opened the drivers door so not to interrupt the process.
The HVAC came on, but no heat from the vents even after 10 minutes. Battery power as reported by OBD2 and...
two things I’ve noticed on my SE:
- if charging to 100% at a rapid charger (DC), it will not equalise once reached 100%.
- if you enter the car after it’s equalising on AC power, it won’t run the heater. (No idea of any other options)
It’s the same for everyone
There’s no shortcut to switch off just the A/C
What you can do is quickly switch off the HVAC using the physical button under the centre screen.
This will also set the air to recirculate to avoid external odours entering the cabin and it’s obviously to be used for...
Without giving away anything about who I work for.
Although an upgrade to the MG4 can give better compatibility with chargers in general, the BPG chargers have had firmware issues from the manufacturer and therefore the issues for those specific chargers is with the supplier to BP Pulse.
