    Battery heating system

If you rapid charge your coolant pump will be activated. If you charge in cold weather your battery heater might kick in when battery is above a certain percentage. There’s no need for you to do anything special in terms of maintaining its functionality.

    How outdated is my software?

The problem is never the bugs. I developed software on Linux most of my life. I even contributed to Git and forked OpenSSH. It’s the time it takes to deliver a fix that is of the essence.

Tried "Intelligent battery heating" for the first time. It's not intelligent!

What was the reason to use intelligent battery heating? Yes it does use battery but if you are plugged in and the charger is active, I don’t think it even runs until you unplug. IBH as far as I know only works when you start the vehicle. So you were plugged in but you weren’t requesting any charge.

    Reading SOH

Mine does not say anything when balancing. Just keeps going past 100% for some time (normally 20minutes) and keeps updating the projected time to finish and that’s it. It balances once it has reached 100%. I use CarScanner with a VeePeak Bluetooth dongle and be careful you have to use the...

    Reading SOH

My LFP SE SRs SoH got bumped from 94.8 (measured the other day at 16 months old and 15k miles) to 95.7 this morning. This was due to a 6% to 100% slow charge. Before charging I left the car at 6% for about an hour. Balancing took way longer than usual, possibly an hour. Moreover, the State of...

Intelligent battery heating: stops when selecting ECO driving mode

Intelligent Battery Heating (IBH) is Slightly more intelligent than I thought. Even if the IBH setting in the Energy Consumption panel is set to Enabled, it won’t heat up your battery when the Drive mode is set to ECO. It will start working the moment your drive mode is anything other than...

    All season tyre choices

If you never had good all-season tyres I suggest you fit those first then you can make up your own mind. Otherwise just trust the reputable tests like the ones from tyrereviews.com I have snow socks for my Turanza 6 when it snows, but I also do not depend on the car as much and don't do that...
