I received a call yesterday afternoon. They're putting the soundproofing in today . I think they're going to use a donor car and then order a new pad in for that one. While I'm there I'm going to find out about the infotainent system upgrade

I received MG4 OEM Mats from my dealer at delivery (October '22) FOC. Initially they had fitted MG 5 ones! Well, I say fitted, they were just in the car . I pointed this out and they changed them and put the anchors in . I've done 15000 miles and they've held up really well.

I'm waiting for a call . I know what's going on . Neither the sales or the service dept want to have the rigmarole of applying the claim through MG cos it'll be a hassle.

So my car was in for it's first service today . They're sorting out a new undertray. But have said that because I didn't report the lack of bonnet pad sooner it's not a valid warranty claim . My argument is how could I make a claim if I didn't know it should have been there in the first place...

That's true It's not all the settings that are affected . just the ones that are covered up .
