It also shows the high voltage battery fault and the 12V battery charging at 12.1V so presumably the HV battery is not charging the LV battery hence the problem, so the problem lies a bit deeper than the 12V battery. I have had the HV warning flash up on mine briefly but not to the extent of...

I think you would need to ask them that question first and get a clear view of their policies. An independent garage could put on a better quality scanner which could clear codes , but they would charge you for that , but maybe not as much. De-connecting the battery 12V for a few minuets might...
