I went through that having had to wait 10 months for delivery ,with no information from the dealer whatsoever. Check that the intelligent battery heater is switched off. That will drain the capacity of the battery . It is slightly hidden in the charging menu ,then press the cog thingy to access the scheduled charging screen and its on there. ( depending on what software version you are on ). ESPs on...

Well I'm flummoxed , I didn't know my online mechanical diagnosis service extended into ESP. Most likely that was the reason for the extended delays. ?🍀

I am going to add I used to drive my ICE car more economically and less often because that gave better savings comparatively. A shopping trip to my nearest large town was around a gallon of fuel whereas 9 kw of electrons ( 12cents a kw ) does the same job ..... and faster .... and...

Just a point on the software update penny pinching by MG . I was also told at the second service it would not be automatically updated , but pointing out a flaky connection to Android Auto and it was done as a warranty item. Without that fault, I could have paid for the update ( 140euros ish )...

Apart from a 30 minute test drive in a Kia Niro EV which was nice but cramped the previous 16 years are in a Peugeot 307 sw , so for me Gary333 comments are spot on. I should trawl around different dealers begging for test drives to get a fair comparison of modern stock , but I am happy enough...
