Where there is a criminal will there is a criminal way. :(
'a phone is not 100% secure with just a fingerprint lock; while fingerprint technology is considered highly secure, it's not foolproof and can be compromised with advanced techniques, meaning a phone can still be vulnerable to...
In my mind you stop at rapid chargers to charge much like you stop at the petrol station to fill up, however you park at a destination charger (7/11/22kW) while you are doing something else same as any other parking. Therefore to me although not welcome I see the reasoning for parking charges at...
I suspect but may be wrong that there is more chance of losing or having your phone stolen than your car. :) (I have absolutely no evidence to support this thought.)
I agree, however that is not the point I was making, it's the methodology that it is based on that is. And again a highly unlikely scenario methinks.
Also note that it is a re-issue of a report from 12 years ago. :)
When the app says code FRONTDESK it means as you have said you need to register at the front desk in the hotel to avoid parking fines.
The codes generally apply to if there is a barrier, e.g. a car park, you need to pass to enter.
Not quite the scenario that is used. Fleetworld this month re published an old report...
'The warning comes from TRACKER, which says that criminals are targeting long-term car parks, knowing that it could be hours before a driver misses their stolen car. Thieves then use the sat nav or GPS...

Having a tethered charger I couldn't even contemplate an un-tethered one. The ease of pulling in, unwind and plug in is so good. No rummaging for cables hidden in the boot or in the frunk plugging in both ends, packing away a mucky wet cable when done...urgh. Destination charging feels like a...
That sounds like an incredible OBD scanner that can that can do mechanical work as well ! Are we thinking about the same thing, an OBD scanner that fits in the OBD port inside the car and displays the sensors on an app ?
