Brand new s5 boot opening problems

I'm confident in the warranty that if it's specifically covered they will honour it. The problem is that the dealers have to thoroughly investigate the defect and explore all possibilities reporting each stage to MG before they get approval to progress to the next. This takes time meanwhile the...

    Cost of Ownership

The percentage loss for AC charging at home is nearer 12% than 20% and I don't think you can count the 3p/mile until it comes in. The taxi might be an EV paying the 3p/mile or a hybrid at 1.5p/mile. Depreciation is a difficult one to include in the calculations as the car hasn't depreciated...

    MGS5 Service Schedule

It looks like they've changed the service schedule for all of their EVs to every two years. What happens to MG Assist which is renewed for 12 months after each year's service? Can those who have paid for an annual service schedule get a refund for the years they don't now need...

    S5EV boot mats

It depends on how you usually have the boot floor. Mine is permanently in the upper position and I keep the stuff you like to have in the car but will hopefully never need like a type 2 cable, an old coat just in case, warning triangle, puncture repair plugs etc. under it.

    Snow mode

Yes. Which is why in snow mode the regen is reduced to stop the back wheels locking up.

    Cost of Ownership

Car ownership isn't just about making financial sense, it's also about convenience and enjoyment. I'm retired and do less than 3000 miles a year but while I am able to afford it and my health allows me to do so I will continue to have a car. It's one of my hobbies and now I have an EV the...

OK partners then. Not sure gendererist Is correct term? Genderist: A genderist (or someone who practices genderism) believes gender is a rigid, binary system (male/female) tied to sex at birth, viewing non-conformity negatively and stigmatising trans, intersex, or gender non-conforming...

    Snow mode

The main difference between front and rear wheel drive is what to do when you need to regain control of the car. In rear wheel drive you just take your feet off all the pedals and engine braking slows the rear wheels straightening the car up. Front wheel drive you have to apply some power so...
