It's interesting looking at what cars the contributors to this thread drive. Most of you have or have had an MG4.
I wonder for how many of you the MG4 was your first EV?
I had always promised myself my first new car when I retired and the government was pushing the green agenda and the sale of new ICE cars would be banned in 2030.
Apart from being green and the performance of EVs, part of my thinking was that used EVs would be worth more than the equivalent...
I'm with you and @Everest with that. I also run my hand over the surface to feel if the tread has any sharp edges to it indicating incorrect toe alignment.
Another thing I learned from my father was, on a long journey when you stop for a break, put the back of your hand against all the tyres...
I might be just lazy or it's because I used to drive different busses with different driving characteristics but I leave the settings in their default option and adapt my driving style to suit.
The cars are delivered to the dealers with the tyres over inflated to stop flat spots forming while the cars are in transit or storage. Unfortunately a lot of dealers forget to lower the pressure back to what it should be during the PDI giving a choppy ride.
Also they think because it's based...
That's how I read it especially as I have just done a 100% balance charge as I was expecting to take out an elderly friend for lunch and decrease the amount of charge. Unfortunately he had to cancel due to a gut infection so I won't be decreasing the amount of charge as quickly as intended.

I wonder if @Miles Roberts CG has...
@salty is cutting down his options on where he's welcome in the UK. He's insulted Derbyshire and now Scotland. No wonder Yorkshire got pissed off with the Lancasterians in the War of the Roses
I have my dash-cam mounted on the passenger side and the view of the road isn't compromised.

Derby City council started to charge for the garden waste collection bin and after a two years realised very few were paying for it, everybody else just put the garden waste into the general purpose bin. It's now a free fortnightly collection.
As long as the cable lies flat along the ground so it doesn't act as a tripwire I very much doubt the remaining cable could be wrapped tight enough to overheat.
In Derby we have:
Brown bin for garden and, at the moment, food waste
Blue bin for all recyclable waste
Black bin for everything else.
The contents of the brown bin get taken to a specialist centre where it's turned into compost which can be bought by the public.
The food waste apparently is...
