You should check them every month when the tyres are cold and adjust the pressure accordingly. Having said that a drop of 5% isn't much of a problem unless you are doing a long journey and/or at motorway speeds. Some owners are running their cars at 35 psi to improve the ride comfort.

In heavy traffic on motorways and dual carriageways I prefer to use the speed limiter in manual mode so I can decide my following distance and if I want to quickly nip into the gap in the next lane.
