Interesting observation. Here in NZ you can buy two battery versions of the base trim, the 51 kW LFP and 64 kW NMC (Excite 51 and Excite 64) versions with cloth seats, 17” wheels, no spoiler, reverse camera only. The trim step up adds leather, 18” wheels, spoiler, 360 deg cameras with NMC...

There is a whole range of wheel centres available. Here are just a couple of examples: I’m going for the silver ones. You do need to know the right size to get. @RP67 the rims you’ve shown are nothing like the ones I have. In terms of rust, a spray of CRC LanoCote will halt that.

New orange and dark grey MG4 demonstrators spotted in Kapiti, New Zealand. This would not be a big thing in the UK or EU, but the MG4 was only released last week in this country. I did a test drive and the handling was superb.

Test drove a new MG4 last week here in New Zealand. Humming resonance noise noticeable but not objectionable with speeds between 100 and 120 km/h. Seems to come from the front, maybe the air dam splitter?

Sure the USB 1.0 and 2.0 standards set out a maximum of 5 unit loads (defined as 100mA each) and that would be the expected minimum. However, USB 3.0 allows 9 units (0.9A) and up to 1.2A for dedicated charging. Then there is the USB Power Delivery (PD) spec which allows up to 2A and recommends...

Update: checked the voltage and current. The mirror mount USB port is delivering 4.96V with the 750mA load of the dash cam. All good. Still interested to find the maxium supported or specified load.
