Issue with AC charging/New CCU fitted (Phase One SE LR)

Not a daft question, I do have a Zappi, and during the summer I do mainly charge using solar, but the car/systems should be able to cope with this, an EV should be designed to do this as this is one of the reasons for having an EV

Issue with AC charging/New CCU fitted (Phase One SE LR)

All these cases seem to point at a batch issue, hopefully it'll be a slam dunk for my car when it goes to be examined. Are the replacement CCU units the same as the original ones (3 phase), and, has anyone actually use the 3 phase charging?

iSmart 2.0 app woes [merged - all discussion in here please]

I have the new app, it didn't load and crashed, restart your phone and it began working. Flaky as ever, and how do you change the charge level (currently at Long-trip mode and wanted to change to 80%), unable to change this setting, any ideas???

Issue with AC charging/New CCU fitted (Phase One SE LR)

So it is on Fast Charge, it must be on this as I keep selecting 'start charge' on the car and it charges for about 30 secs to a minute then it completes early. I just keep doing this atm as it's cheaper than public DC charging and DC charge when I need to top up quicker. Bit annoying though...

Issue with AC charging/New CCU fitted (Phase One SE LR)

In response to the above (check using different chargers). So I have used my Zappi and Podpoint on the AC side of things, I have since checked it on DC and that was OK, charged at just over 40 kw for most of the charge. So, car booked into garage, long wait, time will tell !!!

Issue with AC charging/New CCU fitted (Phase One SE LR)

So yes I am having the same problem, I have had issues with Zappi and Podpoint AC charging, starts charging then states it is complete, but I have tried ECO+, Boost, and Fast, suddenly it says Charge Complete (tick), I need this to work obviously as this is going to be a bit of a mare This has...

    EV charging prices

Currently prices have risen by a lot, but that maybe due to this:, call me cynical but not the first time prices have risen only to be cut later

    Charging Costs

We have Podpoint chargers next to Lidl and they are not used very much due to the price, when will the operators start to understand that if they want their expensive chargers to be used then start being more transparent and realistic with the prices, I have steered a few people away from these...

    Charging Costs

Or is this the same national grid fiasco that means the cost of electricity is linked to the most expensive way to make electricity (currently gas) using gas prices therefore lets make the cost of electricity linked to the cost of fuel (as that seems a good idea [especially if you're profiting...

    Charging Costs

So the price of electricity is falling, but WTF is going on with the cost of public charging, the chargers near me seem to have a mind of their own, podpoint 99p kw/h (was 79p), Revive 69p kw/h (was in the 50's), shell recharge 85p kw/h (was 79p), surely the prices should be coming down not...

    Wireless charging pad slip solution

I have these none-slip pads, the thing was that they plus the standard cover in the slot meant that it would not charge, so I removed the standard bottom of the charging tray and just used the none-slip pad, then it does charge.

Interesting test drive video to watch

This is hardly a fair review, mind already set on something else so found fault on everything before even trying to resolve. "Look I can see the Screen", looks the same size texted as the MG. OMG keep that review in Norwich and try to be more constructive on your reviews

Type 1 to Type 2 Plug Change

I have done it as I ordered a cable but did not fully check the details and got a Type 1 connector, so I ordered a socket and did it myself. What you do need (better than soldering) is a battery terminal crimper as this gives a better connection. I ordered a resistor that tells the car it is a...

    Rapid charge failed

Had the same problem, it was after some updates and then had to update again (warranty) on the EVCC, then worked ok, a problem with the communication. See CCS Charger link

    Low pressure tyre warning

Hi, you have not had any updates recently have you? There is a update that then prevents DC charging, another update clears the issue on the EVCC (Elect Vehicle Charge Controller).
