I didn't have bad vibes as such, just seemed to have trouble getting info when I wanted it. Maybe I'm too impatient :-)
I only asked about the Tesla update, as that's the only one I know of, and I've not yet had time to try it out. The maps weren't updated but I have them on a USB to do when...
That would put you at nearly 40 in a 30.
If you're talking about the speed at which you can get prosecuted, the NPCC (was ACPO) guidelines (which most forces follow) is 10% + 2mph.
I understood recently that some forces don't follow those guidelines religiously and some even sometimes use zero...
I just got a new LR Trophy from Bristol St at Beaconsfield. Overall a good experience but the salesperson IU was dealing with wasn't that great at initiating communications - I had to chase a lot which could have been avoided if she had been a bit more reactive. I didn't meet her on handover day...
So how does one find a) what updates there are for your particular car and b) which updates have been applied? (I can guess how to tell if Tesla one has been done :))
Oh, and I had to have the brakes/pads changed on my previous car (Ampera) and they are just brakes, like any other car, so apart from sourcing parts you could probably get your local indie to do it.
It was the checksum which happens at the start of the process which failed so I think the format (FAT32) was OK but that's a good point!
When I looked it had an Android Lost folder on it, so maybe it wasn't empty when I started or maybe the failed upgrade caused that. Will be trying again at...
My pre FL just sold at 23k miles and the tyres still had plenty left on them all round (and yes, I do once in a while "enjoy myself" (away from the lights etc). I put it in Kers2 if I remember and I always have lane assist on the highest setting.
Well it failed yesterday but I think the files had got corrupted on the USB as the checksum didn't match. I've re-copied them and will get onto it this coming week. The process seems straightforward enough.
I've used AA Wireless (?) almost since my now-gone pre facelift was new. Works fine in the facelift too. But the inbuilt system doesn't seem so bad as the earlier models- I just prefer Waze for the additional info
It says so in the maps update document on your manuals page, for which you need your VIN. At the bottom of the how to update document.
I'm about to do it!
Slight drift, I took delivery of my new Trophy LR today and have just been out fiddling with everything (and the car!! :) ).
I thought Android Auto was wireless on the FL - seems not??
It's a bit rich to be quoting proper practice in defence of your actions. Nowhere is it said that you can lean on your horn if something displeases you, and if that doesn't work get out and physically confront another road user.
If the brake lights distress you, simply stop a bit further away...
I don't get aggressive motorists who think they have a right to enforce their will on others. You could probably do with trying to chill a bit when behind the wheel.
I bought it from someone here when I bought the pre-facelift MG5 and it has never been used. It fits in the spare wheel well.
I've no idea if it will fit the new MG5 I am collecting next week but I no longer need it.
It isn't MG but is, I think, a Volkswagen/Audi part but I was assured it will...
I got one of the bargain Trophys, and so just am literally in the middle of selling my pre FL through Motorway. Easiest sale I've had and I was happy with the offer of £11500. I'd have liked more but it was on the classifieds here and another site for some weeks at £11700 but no-one contacted...
