I am not at home so only have the one key. I haven’t tried it with the key on the console no. Tried to connect the battery terminal back on and straight away the alarm sounds. I have tried leaving the key in the centre console as mentioned facing up but still get the alarm going off everytime...

@Leni16 was spot on. The dealership had the car for a few hours and tried to adjust the springs that hold the seat fabric in place but made no difference to the creases. They reckon it’s the stitching. So will contact MG Motors UK to order a full new set. Wonder how long they will take to get...

The new modified breather was fitted today so ?no more oil leaks. Plus they emailed MG UK about the seats and their hoping for a response in a few days. I will keep you posted.
