I am not at home so only have the one key. I haven’t tried it with the key on the console no.
Tried to connect the battery terminal back on and straight away the alarm sounds.
I have tried leaving the key in the centre console as mentioned facing up but still get the alarm going off everytime...

@Leni16 was spot on. The dealership had the car for a few hours and tried to adjust the springs that hold the seat fabric in place but made no difference to the creases.
They reckon it’s the stitching. So will contact MG Motors UK to order a full new set. Wonder how long they will take to get...
The governments target is 300000 public chargers by 2030. Zap map data showed there is 37000 available ending 2022. So that would mean they need to install just over 32000 a year to hit their target. They installed 8700 last year. Seems they need to crack on pronto.

I take it the dealership weren’t going to pursue the air con chirping with MG seen as the regas never worked?
I must admit I debadged the back window as soon as I got home. You don’t get much to look out let alone a sticker plastered across it.
Dealership contacted me on Monday and booked the car in today 9am. They had a modified breather on the shelf and once they got approval from MG they fitted it this morning.
when I went to pick the car up I couldn’t resist taking a look under the car to look for oil and see how my small bulge...
The new modified breather was fitted today so ?no more oil leaks. Plus they emailed MG UK about the seats and their hoping for a response in a few days. I will keep you posted.
