I did a quick search but couldn't find anything, has anyone found a good door edge protector for the ZS, it seems that right on the fold of the door above the chrome strip is the bit that seems to be the bit that connects with walls etc and is a prime spot for losing paint?

I know I don't drive a 5 so apologies, but this is the one Thinkware F200 pro I got for the ZS, it allows you to set a time for it to run after switch off, it also monitors the battery voltage. it works for me and no problems after a year of use.

Mine was almost a year between 100% charges and I never got a message, I do have a sneaky feeling it does a calibration after an 80% charge but cannot prove it. most folks on here suggest once a month to a 100% leaving it connected to do the balance charge.

I am on EDF, with the cheap 5 hours overnight and I use a SyncEV wallbox, cheap as chips (have you noticed the price of chips recently :)), I use the SyncEV app twice a year to change the cheap rate times as EDF's changes with BST/GMT times and don't touch the settings on the car and if I notice...

The 4 round here is as common as muck :), I see more 4‘s than I do Teslas, now if you want a classy car with rarity value it has to be a ZS EV. taking cover before the incoming….. ;)

That sounds about right, can take a few hours the first time you balance the battery, having said that I have only charged to 100% twice in the almost 18 months I have had the car.

EDF are driving me crackers, smart meters but you can’t see the readings unless you take your own readings, they only tell you where you are bill wise twice a year, 8p overnight tariff is good, but I would like to feel a bit more in control, might have to look at Eon.

Yearly £10 fee, plus you need to send a copy of the V5 showing it is a battery vehicle. Exemption stops in 2025 for all low/no emission vehicles.

If you get stuck the local charge points here (12 in the town car park) have a MG4 EV to rent as well, in fact I think that is true for a few of the councils car parks in Oxfordshire, it does block one of the bays but I have never seen any more than 3 cars charging at one time. EV car hire
