    New (late 2021) ZS EV

I once changed the whip Ariel for a stubby one...but had to change it back to get better reception on MW....don't laugh. I like MW, reminds me of my youth when I used to listen the Radio Caroline (North and South) Radio London, radio North Sea international....etc etc. Not the same without all...

Can't order the Exclusive but Facelift incoming

Will do.....at the risk of repeating myself, My Mrs likes it and WILL drive it, she just didn't like the MG....which means we free up space in the garage as two cars can be replaced by one. I also got a bit fed up waiting for MG. I can feel another dose of Waxoyling coming on..... and before...

Can't order the Exclusive but Facelift incoming

I'm happy with our choice of the Kia 4+ e-Niro. All bought and paid for now......job done. I'm not sold on all the 'high tech' controls of other newer style EV cars, including Teslas. I will be sorry to leave this forum ...dont forget my immaculate ZS EV Exclusive, with 12k miles will still...

LED bulbs for MG ZS EV headlights

I think you will find that the bulb tilts/ changes position on dip etc.

    New (late 2021) ZS EV

I have bought, but not taken delivery yet, for another week. We did have a test drive....it was lovely having full auto air-con. I hated the old MG set up...much too slow and distracting......But I still like the MG, and I hope the new version has other improvements, as well as better range.

    New (late 2021) ZS EV

Just an observation....I bought the Kia before I even saw the ungraded MG.

    New (late 2021) ZS EV

One of my main issues, apart from Range...was the fact that my wife never really 'bonded' with the MG...she does however like the Kia.....as we have had Kia's in the past. That means that we can safely get rid of two cars and replace them with one. More room in my garage for another old...

Can't order the Exclusive but Facelift incoming

I don't do PCP, I always buy my cars out-right. Incidentally My 2015 Mitubisi PHEV, that I bought 4 years ago for 12k, is now still worth nearly 11k.....pretty impressive.

Can't order the Exclusive but Facelift incoming

I'll let you know my thoughts after tomorrow. We did have a (new) Kia Sportage for 6 years....its a bit bigger than we needed and of course it was a ICE Diesel, which is just not acceptable to us nowadays. I wouldn't be interested in a Tesler, I prefer the ride height of a small SUV. Jolly...

Breakdown recovery recommendations - The AA or RAC?

I have full AA membership...have done for over a decade, but after 2 X 4+ hour waits in the last 18 months.....I'm not impressed.

Can't order the Exclusive but Facelift incoming

I understand that MG will be issuing a press release about the updated ZS EV on the 8th or the 9th of this month. Up until then, the dealers are as much in th dark as the rest of us. I am off for a test drive in a Kia E- Nero 4+ tomorrow.;) They still get a very good write up, with 280 range...

    Suspension upgrade

In a muddy fields or in the snow FWD is better than RWD......look at all the sets of BMW winter wheels on eBay! I too suffer from front wheel 'squeak' if i'm driving vigorously.....always get a frown from the co-driver.:censored:

    Winter weather

I had no issues yesterday..two up, natural ventilation...155 mile trip......not doing any heavy breathing mind you! I don't know it it makes any difference, but our car normally lives in a very dry, de-humidifed garage.....(but not for the last two days).

    First seen the the wild

I was in a brief convoy comming back from Norfolk yesterday.....in the rain, on the A52 near Nottingham..... I was following a new Hyundai and was overtaken by a black Vauxhall EV. Incidentally my non-stop trip was 155 miles with 15 left in the 'tank' at 4.1 KPM . In the rain, blowing a gale...

    Suspension upgrade

I like the MG suspension just as it is. Its MUCH comfier than our Mitsubishi PHEV .....one of the reasons the Mitsubishi is gathering dust in the garage.

    Tyres, tyres, everywhere

Yes I've had winter tyres for my last 3 cars....and have still got them for the PHEV, and I must admit I do like a "A class" wet grip tyre. But all tyres are trade-offs. Ride / Comfort/ grip/ noise. I think the standard tyres on the ZS EV are a good balance. Being retired, I don't do any...

    Tyres, tyres, everywhere

If you need winter tyres.....you need winter tyres. Here in the Midlands, they would have been handy for me, on average, on about 1.5 days a year...over the last 4 years. ......So I'm not bothering with this car.
