    HV battery failure

I have a 10 MM spanner taped near the battery on both my MG and PHEV. The MG ..as described...and the PHEV as it gets so little use, it keeps throwing up daft servicing messages. Regarding battery balancing, I tend to leave my plugged in after use and often see it "balancing" for several...

Knocking noise from the sunroof area!

It's such a shame anyone should have problems like this....and the rather inept way MG have handled them.. My granddads favourite saying was "its better to keep a customer than find a new one" I've obviously been lucky. My car has never caused me any issues in 16 months of brilliant...

OHME Charger - what is it doing?

I'm not into timed charging..it makes things much to complicated for me. I also have solar panels, so I figure if the sun is shining, my charges cost very little. Every time I come home, I plug in. Either on the Granny charger, or as yesterday, we arrived home from a long trip 160 mile trip...

Lost 27 miles overnight - any ideas why?

Just done a 154 mile trip with 20 miles left in the "tank". Very pleased with that considering it was only 2 degrees when we set off and 9 degrees when we arrived 3.5 hours later. 4.1 MPK. I was very impressed with GOM which was spot on. 50 MPH seemed to be the key, if I went faster then the...

Is there a software update I can get to improve the range?

Guess O Meter.......your predicted range......based on historical trips etc. Ive had by car 15 months and done about 8k miles. Ive always found mine pretty accurate. Currently with everything switched off and in eco mode, mine in predicting 172 miles. (But it is in a heated garage....so...

Is the ZS the only EV with an opening panoramic sunroof?

Modern car roofs tend not to leak.....I don't know of any that do. Then again, most cars don't have them as they must be quite expensive and complex to fit. I love my glass roof.:) Go back a few years on say a Land-rover Discovery and a few other cars and it was a different story.

56 mph for ICE what about EV

Walking pace probably...they are wonderful around town and in heavy traffic. I tend to keep off motorways and my speed down below 60 as much as I can...without inconveniencing other road users too much.
