Do I have to turn the car off before fast charging?

    Just plug it in.

    MG4 X-Power waiting area

According to my dealer the X-Power model is sold out for Germany in 2023 now.

    MG4 Undertray dip/bulge

That's exactly the point. It's very obviously not meant that way so they should rectify it.

Phase 1 Trophy/ Luxury: how do you like the seats?

The MG4 was my commuter car for half a year, I drove 80 km every day. Sometimes I used it for longer drives, the longest being 550 km. Never had any issues with the seats - to the contrary: I find them very well laid out and shaped. Not too tight but with adequate lateral support. I really liked...

    Acceleration at higher speeds

Assuming it's not super hot in the UK and you were not driving on a race track before there should be no heat issue in this situation. I'd suggest to report this to your dealership.

Battery chemistry reason enough to go for the SE SR?

In my opinion all this does not matter in real life and I don't spend one second thinking about it. There are Tesla Model S around in the wild from the very first generation with the very first battery pack. There is a Model S with one million miles on it. Regular Joes will never suffer battery...

Outside air temperature and MG 4

The version of the Infotainment does not relate to any LKA behaviour. Because of mandatory regulations the LKA has to be default on when you drive off. This seems to have been "rectified" with your vehicle. That said there is an update for the LKA which renders it really usable for everyday...

    MG4 Undertray dip/bulge

Some have it, some don't. Since they are still delivered with this fault it's just sh*t quality control.

    MG4 Undertray dip/bulge

Of course the dealer should fix it - as has already been done with some cars in this forum. Under no circumstances would I fiddle with a part of the car under warranty. What if some part of the plastic breaks off? They wont't touch it then and you are responsible. Make the dealer do it. It's...

    MG4 Software Update Thread

Well, if it's an MG4 you could give her the e-mail address of a certain Mr Smart... ? I haven't seen a car delivered with a real spare tyre for at least a decade. That said, I never had a flat tyre myself in 28 years. My wife on the other hand had a flat tyre once. She called me and I drove...

    MG4 Software Update Thread

The owner of a phase 2 SE would just have to open the iSMART app to see if it shows ambient temperature.

In both cars? Or only in the X-Power model?

    MG4 Software Update Thread

Indeed, it seems to be even good now. But it took them almost two years to get there. Two years, when drivers could not demist the windscreen and drive off, because it took the system several minutes to power up. On the other hand my MG4 got better with every update. The phone pairing issue...

    MG4 X-Power waiting area

The (not slow) Trophy disappearing in the rear view mirror is impressive.

    MG4 X-Power waiting area

It absolutely is. Especially because it's a small hatch and physics can't be cheated. An SUV will always have a higher centre of gravity, longer suspension travel (thus more rigid dampers) and will never handle as well. Even though I am aware of the mediocre reviews I will have to test drive it...

Need help with my new mg4 ev

They seem to be quite a large business. It's really a shame that they can't provide a courtesy car while your car is unusable - and under warranty. In many cases this is a matter of fairness and goodwill, but in your case it is clearly covered my the terms of MG Assistance (for 48 hours at least).
