I'm getting 50.4mpg. I started at 56.4 and it has been dropping slowly over the last four weeks. I'm in traffic 50% of the time. The dash says average speed is only 17mph so no exactly caning it am I? I don't seem to be on EV very much.

As you say "little issues" the basic car is fine to drive but the comfort side of it is lacking, having to mess with the nanny software to make it drivable, had we been made aware we would have bought a used something or other but we got sweet talked into having a new car.

I would Tim, in a heartbeat, but we're pretty much stuck with it now, I can only hope that others who are also less than happy have contacted MG as I have and there will be an update forthcoming sooner rather than later to fix the many and varied software issues.

My point exactly, none of it is mentioned in the servicing list from either garage. They did mention new sump plug washers and changing the fob battery though :rolleyes:

To be honest, it is a minefield trying to get any info at all, almost like they are not sure how to service them, surely the EV side must get at least a visual check or an OBD2 type plug in to check for any codes.

How does that make the screen defrost?

Most radio and TV is more or less the same days so it's an assumption that it's easy to figure out once you get to the radio screen, which it is, it's the same on a puter they cannot in fairness think of everything you might want to do so you have to look carefully at what's in front of you, so...

It smacks to me of them wanting to avoid any warranty claims if they possibly can.

Having done 2.5k miles it seems to have no rhyme or reason to what we are running in at any given time. I can have my foot on the brake approaching a red light and the engine revs up. When driving at a constant speed on level ground, it is forever hunting for the right gear & in and out of EV.

No service book to stamp is a hurdle I suppose.

We have two quotes now, but neither one mentions servicing the EV side of the car, has anyone else had a quote for that. The way I see it is the engine is an engine and can be serviced much cheaper elsewhere so why pay dealer rates.
