I am just now getting used to my car, and I was just curious what everyones charge range is, and what you consider to be best for battery health/life?
Currently my thinking is letting is get down to 40% or 50% then charge up to 80% and repeat then build in a 100% charge every couple of...
I do love a good spreadsheet. I'd love to set something like this up but I find my data gets reset each time I restart the car...is there a way to pull the data out filtering by month/week/data range on the car?
A quick update here - I also mentioned elsewhere (in the Dealer discussion). I will summarise: Initially the engineer took a look (and sent me a video of his examination of the vehicle) and said "theres a little gap there but its nothing to worry about". I thought oh goodness here we go...
I took my car in to my local MG dealership and annoyingly, it seems the person who installed my hand controls disconnected the heating element from the wiring under the footwell and did not connect it again, meaning no heat. I felt pretty silly tbh but I wasn't to know.
Well first impressions are ....bad. person I spoke to last week didn't book my car in. So I'm stuck now.
Had a peek at the job sheet that I signed prior to any work being done and the SC077 update was done so that's good , but they didn't update to r63 at the same time. Interesting.
Update...
How are you supposed to clean the Battery protector at the bottom of the doors? I have a white residue on mine and it doesnt seem to want to come off....Diamondbrite?
No matter what I put mine on when I drive it's cool, despite deicing this morning when I wasn't in it, so I know the AC works. I will have words with the dealer this coming Monday.
do you know what version you were on previously out of interest? On my journey out today (got my car on Tuesday- today is 1st real trip out) I had AC on 23 and it was cool, not 23. Having said that, I did a pre heat before I got in the car to de ice it and that worked within 15 minutes....
Just a quick update on this: I set my custom settings to:
Steering: Sport
Power: Normal
Throttle Response: Sport
It is far more like my old Fabia vRS Mk2 now, and because of that a bit more familiar. But so smooth its immense. I'm loving driving it.
Thank you to everyone for your input!
Now...
yeah because I can't use my right arm very well (not at all whilst driving) the right side buttons would have to wait until I'm at lights or in slow traffic to use unfortunately.
Thanks so much everyone some food for thought here for sure. I'm going to have a play around with custom mode and change the throttle response to see if that helps otherwise it might mean a call to the installers or manufacturers of the left foot accelerator or as has been said, just getting...
This is where I purchased my MG4 Trophy. Very pleasant folks. Will update when I've had experience of the service side (car going in 3rd March for under tray bulge)
