Must admit the MG3 is better at picking up the signs than my previous MG HS. HS used to recognise the National speed limit sign but always interpret as 70 whether Dual or single road. Nothings perfect, though must admit I still look at the Road signs and not rely on the recognition. Sorry...
Hi
Be great if you would. I have a chip on the gear area never noticed it when picked car up. Dealership not interested as wasn't pointed out. so I have bought same as yourself to cover it up, but not attempted yet.
Hi I thought the same when I set it up on left Star. expected an option to appear on the screen. Then noticed it just changed it with each press of the star button. changing the level on the steering wheel screen at bottom right.
I'm with saga and changed mid term. originally was £550 with an MG HS and asked for another 60 when I updated with the 3. pro rata they said reckon renewal will be 650ish.
Lowest I can get using the markets is 450 -470 but that is raising the voluntary excess.
full NCD included 40+ years but...
Just looking through old threads, think the split seats was an error to not include and if they were used elsewhere do not understand why not universally fit them. been a couple of occasions since getting I could have used the option whilst getting stuff transported.
Yes suppose if they are hammering it. Would be interesting to read what conditions were, will have a rake see if can find autotrader review. Never really checked my overall mpg since I got it just know filling up less frequent and not as much cost as my ill fated MG HS so that's OK.
I think it gives an understanding of what the 12v battery is used for within the function of the car.
but heres another one that goes into more depth the truth is out there. Just don't believe it.

Obviously not specific to...
It was over 9 hrs and a few drives later. Not really concerned just put it up there in case it happens to anyone else. Never had a car in over40+ years of driving fail to register. Slave to the computer saying no. (Old ref for those who get it)
Has anyone else had this. I went to top up my tank was showing 85% I pulled upto pump removed cap then noticed it was a pay at till pump. I got back in reversed to an pay at pump. After click saying full tightened cap got in and started car. The tank still showed 85% with same mileage.
So about...
These little tips you never knew. Never even thought of hanging the cap somewhere.
I filled up this morning or topped up. Noticed the gauge never changed still showing the same as before. Not sure why. May show full when I start it after work.
All I know is I read at the time overfilling caused the light to come on . Think I read it was due to petrol entering a vent hole near top of the filling neck to allow tank to breathe and stop a vacuum forming, older cars had a vented fuel cap. I didn't drive around with cap off for 30 min to...
Is it after you fill up or is it at anytime. I mentioned my previous issue with same with my HS but that was because I filled up to brim leaving cap off for a length of time resolved and I was then more careful filling up. After getting rid of HS and buying the MG3 I only fill to first click of...
I've been getting 30mpg on morning trips at around 5:30 of around 3 miles engine always on. Return trip when temp rises get around 60mpg. My work trips differ but short ones at moment. See what happens when the colder weather hits. Hopefully will even themselves out.
Understand the running gear, but what I'm trying to say is for last 4 weeks temp has been below 10 and dark morning (5:30am) only the petrol comes in. It isn't till temp rises by the afternoon on return journey it mixes beetween EV and combustion and until this happens I get 30mpg. I hope it...
Fuels consumption is a big problem the early morning journey about 3 miles the EV part never comes in and is around 30mpg. Be interesting to see what happens when weather gets colder and darker and more electrical ancillaries are used lights heating etc.
Hi, I've had similar in mornings going to work 6ish engine stays on for full drive, when coming home starts in EV switches to hybrid then back to EV. But in morning lights on and wipers. Surmising that as it is using 12v battery for ancillary stuff it is running to maintain a charge in battery.
I had an MG HS for 6 month and the emission light came on after I had filled up to the brim, called the dealer they couldn't fit me in for 3 month. Had a read online and found articles around same issue but didn't work eventually was fixed by leaving cap off for 30 min replaced light went out...
Yeah was my thinking as well, but thought 5000rpm was bit extreme especially from 50ish 60 ish to 70. Would have thought it could have handled it quite easily in its top gear. Bit of a numpty is about right engine screams and really doesnt accelerate that fast when it happens.
