I found Ionity discounted the first three months useage and were about the cheapest in France. Also, on the whole, electricty for EV vehicles in France is nearly half the price it is in the UK
No. I was actually given FREE full European Breakdown cover with my new MG4 ER on purchase in November 2023 and is renewed automatically free of charge every year.
That's absolutely abismal service and also has deterred me from any further purchases from them in the future. There are many other reliable and responsible optional makes out there.
Unless you go 'track driving' the ER, in my experience, is powerful enough for all roads and conditions, especially if you fit Michelin Cross Climates which prevent aquaplaning and are excellent on snow and ice.
That all depends where you live as to how often you need to use them. I live near a particularly persistent fog bank area of coastline in south east Kent that comprises a motorway with limitless arctics thundering along to and from Dover docks, where you'd be insanely suicidal not to use them...
I still feel it risky taking my eyes off the road for a split second in a 'pea super' or sudden fog bank and wonder if it were possible to fit a separate switch it would invalidate the seven year Warranty or increase it's devaluation ?
Can anyone tell me a safer and more convenient way to switch on the fog lights than the ridiculously tiny button at the top left of the info screen. I find this both extremely difficult to do when driving and somewhat dangerous.
