I bought two of these for MGs and they work great, when I plug into the car first time it took about 30s , might've required manually selecting android auto, then it shows a pair screen w/ the device name - pairing was straightforward. Have you tried with a different android device?

At least the cyberster makes use of this and has integrated dashcam in china, doesn't seem to be available in the euro/uk models though which is a shame. The ZS has a usb port next to the rear mirror which makes installing a dashcam very easy though, not sure if the HS has it but it should be...

I'm sure it's in the tesla app but if you google the tesla supercharger map you can filter to superchargers open to other EVs.
