That's a Cyberster image not a Marvel. You can't "select" the second gear. When you floor it you feel it change gear around 100kph. It's surreal for an EV and the surge is addictive.
Many thanks again. It seems clearer to me now. So you plug your V2L directly into your old inverter on the AC "in" and the inverter takes care of the battery charging ? My set up is different and I have my inverter feeding the house via SBU (solar, battery, utility) but my 5kWh battery...

My (and all others) MG Marvel R has two speed transmission. Kicks in at around 100kph when you floor it . It's quite surreal and extremely satisfying to feel it surge when it clicks into this overdrive gear.
Apologies if I did not word that correctly. It's not the V2L cable that I am after it's how you connect the V2L to your batteries ? I presume you connect to a 240v battery charger ? If so, which one are you using ? Thanks for the reply.
I changed my mains feed to my boiler to a standard plug here in France and it works no problem. The boiler only draws around 100 W for the pump as it's a gas combi. Used my V2L adaptor for it a few times during power cuts with zero issues.
Buy a battery charger and plug it into your V2L lead...
