330km from a first gen ZS is surely not correct ? Thats around 200 miles. I have never seen more than 270km estimated range when fully charged and I have only ever charged at home. Can you post a picture showing your 330km range after charging ? If you can get that here in France there must be...
Well mine does not, maybe like the OP. when I do a full charge it shows around 265km but when I turn on the car the dash display shows around 240km as it starts in Normal mode. If I flick my Mode switch to Eco it shows 265km.
So you are driving along in Normal with 200km showing left and you switch to Eco my car then shows 220km range left and I dont have to drive slower to get the extra 20km ? The car is more responsive and uses slightly more battery in Normal mode and even more in Sport mode.
This thread gets more bizarre by the minute ! The 260km you see on your "charging screen" is the estimated maximum range if you drive in Eco mode with no heater or aircon. The car will always start up in Normal mode which is why you see 220km in your "driving screen" . Put the car in Eco mode...
I also dont understand why you have not read or answered the OP question. He does not understand the difference in the readings after charging amd starting the car. After charging the estimsted mileage shown is related to maximum if you drive in Eco like a Nun with no heater but he has not...
Car always starts automatically in "Normal" mode which will show less range. Change it to "Eco" and it will show a bigger range. Make sure heater/ac is OFF to get a true reading.
Second time in a week. Forum is not "hacked". Does nobody "vet" new member applications ? I run a motorbike forum and we check ip addresses and ask certain questions that only enthusiasts can answer before we allow anyone in.
Some misunderstanding here. I have an outside dedicated socket for my Granny charger which has a 30a cable and fuse to match. I naturally agree that using regular 3 core with a 13a fuse is not recommended ! I live in rural France by the way where we have a 9kw supply so overnight using 2.2kw is...
I may stand corrected but it takes around 2.2kw and hence an empty to full charge takes around 20 hours. If you have the time for this its no problem so unsure why it should only be used for "emergencies" ?
