I multiply the current jouneys miles per kWh by 0.7 × % battery left and then knock off a few miles as it should be 0.683 (the useable battery is 68.3 kWh) but multiplying by 0.7 is easier mental maths. Also I see how many miles I have done after 25% usage and then multiply by 4, and how much...
That's exactly what I got yesterday when it was minus 7 on my long range. You will get around 300 to 330 in the middle of the Summer, depending on your driving habits / speeds.
This is today's range this morning at minus 7c. All my recent jouneys have been short ( no chance for battery to heat up much ) with 22c heating on and heated seats . That's 158 miles at 80 percent which equates to 197.5 at 100 percent. This is really for any newbies worried if their car is...
Make sure it's switched on from both the infotainment system and also on the stalk which you set ACC and MG Pilot on from. You have to press the button at the end to activate it.
Speed limiter stops you going above a certain speed which either you set (manual) or what the cars cameras read on road signs (intelligent [= automatic.]). You can override the speed by flooring the accelerator but at normal foot pressure, the car won't go above the limit. I've used it in...
Look on You Tube for a NZ chap called Jerry Pan. He does a lot of instructional videos on how to do things on MG EVs. He is a MG dealer so pretty much knows them inside out.
Set it to a 100% charge. It will balance if it needs to, once its reached to 100%. It won't tell you it has done a balance. But you can see if it is doing it (when it's happening) by checking the app towards the end of the planned charge time. If its reached 100% and is still drawing power (at...
I just charge to 100% every 4 or 5 weeks. The car will just do the balance if its need to do it, once it reaches 100% SOC. It does not tell you it has done it. You would have to monitor the charge status on the app. If its at 100% and is then still drawing a small charge for an hour or so, its...
Once a week on a 7kW Hypervolt, back up to 80% from whatever it is (which varies from 40% to 60%). Up to 100% before a long journey or once every 4 of 5 weeks to 100% if no long journeys have been done. I actually have a full 12 months cost analytic now. On home charging on the Hypervolt it was...
See below
I also have these which help a bit. 2 in the front (either end of the dashboard) and one at the rear in the centre of parcel shelf.

ACC (as it turns off Regen / Kers) wouldn't affect range at constant motorway speed's. Indeed turning your Kers / Regen to its lowest on motorways will probably increase change (if not using ACC). EV Man (or his Driving Ohm channel) recently did a podcast explaining it.
I don't use one of those (as I have a hypervolt 2) but the property I stayed in over Christmas let me plug a granny charger into one very similar to that. I ran it over Christmas Eve evening to Christmas Day morning and again over Chritmas Day evening to Boxing Day morning. That was...
Yep. Forest of Dean for Christmas (23rd to 27th incl) Only 120 miles though. And the property rental owners are letting me charge ( 'granny' as they have no 7kw point ) for £20 (total, not per day). Then going to Stockport on the 28th to 29th incl, to see my folks. That's 189 miles so I may need...
