Likewise. I first just created another account on my wife's phone MG app and then allowed that account to be a secondary family account, doing this from my phone logged into the app, on the main bound account. For my main account I have always used my mobile number. For this secondary account I...
What does it specifically mean by account.
We have one car. An MG ZS EV. We both have the app downloaded. It's the same app but only one of us can be connected at any one time. The login phone number and password we use to login is the same for both of us. If I am not logged in but the wife is...
Similar to me. The 200 mile range would be for really cold days with short journeys where the battery does not have time to heat up. I have got up to 330 mi in the summer. I nearly always drive ECO unless I need an extra boost to heating or A/C.
Fortunately the cat turned out to be ok and we left for Wells at 100% SOC on Thursday (28th) evening just after 7pm. We stopped in Aimsbury at 8.44pm and put in 14.65 kWh on a Tesla Type 3. Spent Friday at Longleat Safari Park ( fantastic light show btw ) and all day in Wells in Saturday ( no...
Make sure it can charge at Tesla open to all chargepoint. Most can but if it can't, it just needs a software update, done at a dealers service centre. They may or may not charge for this depending on the dealer. Note you you can still charge at other chargepoints if it wont work at a Tesla open...

Type 3 chargers are still showing as available to use at an open to all site I plan to stop at this Thursday.: Aimsbury, 9 of 16 stalls available right now.
I was not able to bind my Android to the car. My wife did it on her I phone. I then just logged in on my android. This was in Sept 2022. We can both still log in and use it. NB - not at the same time as only one phone can be logged in at any one time.
For AC you will never get higher than 7kW. (see picture for AC), irrespective of whether it's tethered or not.
For DC (see picture for DC) it can be higher. You will always have a tethered cable for this.
Note that's for UK MGs. Other cars from other brands may get 22kW from AC chargers. But...
You can charge it with your own type 2 to type 2 on a 22kW public chargepoint. The most speed you will get is 7kW though. That's all the car can accept on type 2 on UK models.
