Battery heating is to enable you to heat battery on cold days when you are approaching a rapid charger (20 mins before), otherwise I think best advice is to leave it off. Doubt it will help much at home charger.

For me it's a huge time saving, almost exclusively charging from home I have only ever had to charge away from home a few times (without problems). Not having to visit petrol stations is just brilliant (especially when there is a shortage and they are all queing up and snapping at each other).

It is worth highlighting that besides value, the MG4 is absolutely streets ahead of not only most other EV's but also most ICE vehicles, I enjoy every time I drive it.
