Brilliant!
Did you do a test drive?
What are your initial thoughts?
I have a friend who loves his ZS - how does the MGS6 compare?
What variant and colour (interior and exterior) did you choose?
Early VW EV's were a nightmare for owners. My cousin has a Merc EQC as a company car - he and a colleague have both had new motors fitted at around 100,000 miles. Fortunately under warranty, otherwise a £6000 plus job he reckons.
That is a very good introduction to the MGS6. I like the physical buttons and the fact that you can customise the driving parameters.
Has anyone on the forum bought the MGS6?
Keep us informed. Agree with many of the comments. If you get a good MG they are brilliant for the cost. Get a bad one and you can find the customer service extremely poor.
My guess, for what it is worth, the mileage charge will be based on telemetrics. There will be too much temptation for high mileage users to "clock" their cars. The method will try and negate any possible fraud.
The VED taxation "policy" is to maintain the revenue. If ICE cars are banned then...
No wear that I can see and the car is not heavily loaded. It could be the suspension has not been altered after conversion to electric. The car is not built on a dedicated electric platform.
It is just something to keep an eye on if you own the MG5.
My rear tyres were also cracking, so it is...
I presume the rear tyres were original, so now 30,000 miles - so I can't really complain. They are also cracking, so will get them changed - car is four years old.
Am experiencing uneven REAR tyre wear. Does seems strange - tyre rotation may be the answer. apparently there is no adjustment for the rear wheel alignment. Not carrying really heavy loads, only the dog (40Kg).
Just been noted by the garage at service, on my PFL MG5. No heavy loads in the back .......... oh yes! The dog 40kg!
Rotating the tyres might be the best option. It is recommended for safety that Tyres should be changed after 5 years use, no matter what the tread wear shows.
Anyone else had...
