Well two years have passed since the last post. MG5 SR cars have really come down in price, hence why I bought mine. I believe them to be exceptional value compared to similar ICE cars of the same age and mileage. Just my thoughts on this interesting thread.

Just a quick question - I was playing with the infotainment system on my MG5 SR PFL. A list came up of chargers and one said Tesla? I will try and find the list again but I wonder if it means it will charge on a Tesla charger?

Pam24, as you have driven manual cars I think you will enjoy driving an electric automatic. I would not wish to go back to manual after using an automatic. Let us know what you think.

Just to add it was the rear brake pin that was seized - the rear brakes get less use than the fronts.

I am not experienced but could you go into the menu and do a factory reset? Others on here might know more about this. You have already disconnected the 12v battery, which would have been my first option. Keep us informed how you get on.
