Is this an SE model? (as you can only change it on the Trophy model & above)

I have a '22 SE SR now running 1100R40 :- Anyone got the left * (star) button on the steering wheel working - It used to toggle between carplay / radio, and wont let me asign a task in the settings menu (the right * is fine - which I've set for aircon menu).

I had similar at my 3rd service, which included SC077 LKA update, mine was left on R10 (one of the 1st to arrive in the UK in Sept 22), you can update the Infotainment to R40; see To Update MG4 software or Not?

Did have a glitch today, in ACC - I was told to hold on to steering wheel, and brake checked a friendly driver behind (in a Volvo E90 or EX90) who stopped and let me in on a A road 2 mins before 🤷‍♂️

.....that sounds like VAG cars (via ODIS), you can do either a static or dynamic recalibration (as I understand it SAIC & VAG use Bosch for their ADAS)

Noted, good news it wont be the radar then, as @OriginalBigAl says, check the earth to the power steering motor aswell as all the fuses under the dash and under the bonnet, it may not come up on an expensive diagnostic. On my MG4 a cheap £20 topdon will at least scan the MG4. Also have a look at...

That was my experience at its 3rd 45,000 mile service last week. The service campaign is only for the LKA, so we still have the SW169-29958-1100R10 for the MPU software. If we wanted this updated, it was £199 :eek:- For us everything is fine (as before, even if LKA defaults to ON every time now...

We have the same set-up, all looks 100% correct for IOG. If its very windy or sunny Octopus may need to offload energy from the grid, hence your car will charge as you plug in, nothing to worry about as the house & car will be billed at the offpeak rate.

3 years in on the MG4, 98% charged at home - but used Tesla Superchargers (£100-200 a year) as and when - incl Dover & Calais et al = perfect.
