    Broken Parcel Shelf 😢

I always use the same, small bit of superglue and a sprinkle of Dr Bechmann Glowhite - also great for broken door mirrors, plastic bumpers (which im currently doing on my T-Roc underskirt).

MG4, Zappi and Octopus Intelligent Go

We do around 15k miles a year with the MG4, and use 7000kwh a year intotal. I think Octopus know that 99% of users just plug in whenever, and I've only had a handful of times when it wont charge over the peak period, but has always been ready by the morning. Octopus has full control on how much...

New panel gap - how much to fix?

Nice to hear how insurance should work together with all involved for an acceptable outcome for all concerned.

MG4, Zappi and Octopus Intelligent Go

Thats how ours works, 95% of the time you just plug in and it starts immediately, and the house and EV is charged at the 7p rate - we dont touch any of the settings and let octopus decide when it wants to charge.

    Porsche mobile charger with MG4

... maybe I've missed something here, but these are 10A 3-pin plug chargers🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ - great for occasional use, but one does need a more permament solution, which also gives access to overnight cheap rates.

    Porsche mobile charger with MG4

.. I think the conclusion is get an MG EVSE charger for occasional use / away from home, but get a wall box charger compatible with energy companies (e.g. Octopus & Ohme or Zappi) to get the low cost charging around 7p / Kwh or 2-3p / mile

    MG4 Battery Health

LFP SE - Sept 22 model - from car scanner (but verified at service each year via UKMG) - no issues todate (aside from minor reduction in power @ <20% SOC at 70mph+) ... at this rate, the MG4 might see me out 🤣 🤣 🤣

Plastic panels damaged whilst cleaning - advice please!

...to be honest I was looking for a rake in the garage to clear leaves and found the stuff, did the other side first which was worse (and couldnt believe it), so grabed the camera! - cant believe how well it turned out in 2 mins 😁

    Should I be worried?

Not really, its not something I've heard of, sounds like a defective product during manufacture rather than a faulty charger, it just happens sometimes.

How to unbind my MG4 from the Ohme Home Charger?

I have 2 cars, a fast n slow charge - on my Ohme fast I can delete, but not on the other.... not sure how to help further - having said this, I select the correct car / profile at the top under charging

Thinking of getting a used MG4 trophy with around 20k miles

... no worries, must be youth v old age , as dont see much difference between the SE & Trophy, just liked the LFP chemistry on the SE (battery longevity???) as we do around 15k miles a year
