...to be honest I was looking for a rake in the garage to clear leaves and found the stuff, did the other side first which was worse (and couldnt believe it), so grabed the camera! - cant believe how well it turned out in 2 mins 😁
Not really, its not something I've heard of, sounds like a defective product during manufacture rather than a faulty charger, it just happens sometimes.
I have 2 cars, a fast n slow charge - on my Ohme fast I can delete, but not on the other.... not sure how to help further - having said this, I select the correct car / profile at the top under charging
... no worries, must be youth v old age , as dont see much difference between the SE & Trophy, just liked the LFP chemistry on the SE (battery longevity???) as we do around 15k miles a year
I'm 3 years in with an SE (40000 miles), first car that I've ever had thats has had no problems (still on the same set of tyres), battery is at 47kWh max capacity now (according to MG), but can still do 200 miles before charging is needed, go for it.
Mine is a '22 SE, 3 years old LFP, just had 3rd service and the SOH was reported by MG as 92%, which is exactly what car scanner says. 🤷♂️ 🤷♂️ 🤷♂️ (all the points on the chart are from car scanner) - you can almost see why the MG4 SE 2025 version has a capacity of 49kWh.
