Yes mine is an ohme which had the same problem, until I moved the CT clamp from the solar / battery (MG4, Zappi and Octopus Intelligent Go) - now resolved.

I agree its a complete pain, also see this ....before moving the CT clamp (as luckily the EV charger was on its own consumer unit), I set the MG4 to only charge between 11:32pm & 05:28am - that way I didn't get any instant slots from Octopus as soon as I plugged it in to the EV charger.

The only way that I can see this working (without massive draconian bureaucracy) is to add the levy onto the unit rate of electricity when charing the car at home or on a public charger - which would be around 10p / unit. It would be quite straighforward to implement as you can only get a SMART...

Go for a worst case scenario at 1.5-2.0miles / kWh (i.e. your battery percentage left in miles) - the worst run I've ever had was ~ 150 miles on a full charge (standard SE) - at 70mph on a cold day. Best was ~ 220 miles in summer at 60mph hypermiling behind a lorry on the closest cruise control.

Agree, also could be weather related (given the amount of rain & wind this week) as a small bit of moisture could have gotten into a connector which is causing an electrical blip etc.
