    Car or computer

The car chassis might be OK, the shell of the car would be dependent on the maintenance regime of the owner and local road conditions, but the bit I'd be concerned about with any car EV or ICE is how the computer components will bear up with the outside conditions, heat and damp aren't friendly...

    MG4 Restricted speed - weird

Try a cheap dash cam fixed inside so you don't have to remember to start the recording or mess about when your on the road.

    New Osram LED upgrade lamps

It's a company car so I had better not swap for these.

    Absolutely Livid!!

I had to share responsibility for someone bashing into me coming off of a roundabout. Firstly it would prove where I was on the road. Prove I stopped and they didn't It would have picked up them driving the car like it was stolen and nearly crashing into someone at the next junction. It might...

    New Osram LED upgrade lamps

HB3/H10/HIR1 Osram LEDriving HL BRIGHT +300% 12V LED Headlights Any idea on the legality of these new lamps? Pricey but potentially good on the roads I drive.

    New small Tesla

The Missus Puma has just arrived, great little car, it is simultaneously big and small. The Fiesta is now about 150mm shorter than a Focus so not really that small anymore!

Temporary Loss of Wipers and Washers

I was thinking, what if it happened on a motorway in the rain, not many convenient safe spaces to pull over on the M11 where I drive and a long space between junctions. Mine did come back to life after the restart but not immediately.

Temporary Loss of Wipers and Washers

I nipped out with the Missus in Sunday to do some shopping in Stevenage (I know, we are blessed.) Half way there my OCD got the better of me and I decided to get rid of the tiny amount of dust on the windscreen. Pulled the lever....and nothing happened. I tried the various wiper and washer...

    Front Parking Sensors

I'm more than capable of manoeuvring without them, its just I've had front sensors and a reversing camera in cars for 8 years and like the accuracy I can park with, particularly when I'm stopping at the outlaws I can get as close to my BiLs car as possible so I don't block the neighbours drive...

Headlamps have moisture absorbing bags within them...

I agree, energy saving and added light would go a long way to improving the roads. Even properly fitted LED and HiD lamps dazzle on coming traffic. I just think it should be a level playing field, you dazzle me, I dazzle you!

    Front Parking Sensors

I park in the works car park and the charger is on the wall in front and my space is on a corner so I need to be as far forward as possible having front sensors make opening the hatch and plugging in much easier.

Headlamps have moisture absorbing bags within them...

Putting LED headlamps in halogen units is an MOT failure and possibly an offense as the light beam could dazzle oncoming traffic. If you are involved in a traffic incident the insurance company could refuse to cover you even if lights were nothing to do with the cause. I've never seen silica...

Car Froze unable to exit car!!

How do you get in the boot if you have two kids car seats in the rear? I can barely move the rear passenger seat the thing is so big, I only have one to worry about but two car seats in the back is a fairly common sight. I can't see it being possible to remove a car seat from inside as a...

Nope, that's why we aren't thrilled by it! Plus it takes up a USB port.

MG ZS electric drivers seat to fit an MG5?

Nope myself and three other MG5 driving colleagues all complain about the seat. I just find the whole driving position uncomfortable. I feel like the seat in my car is slighty wonky. To start with it felt comfy but after a month the upholstery must have sagged and I notice all lumps and bumps.

MG ZS EV Temperature and drastic drop in miles per kWh

Blimey, I get 2.4 with heaters on, seats on, & foot down as much as possible!

Cancel MG4 Trophy and go for Megane E-Tech?

I think journalists get the car they are given, like it or lump it. Your Top Gears might get a choice but I think even then they get given the same car as I have heard of complaints from motoring journos that Top Gear broke the car before they got it so they had nothing to review.

MG ZS EV unlocked all night?

Toyota's, VAG, Ford, Mercs, Vauxhall's and Beemers I've driven or been in all work this way. Can't speak for Citroen's, my AX didn't have central locking!

help! Wife has locked key in boot!

I did this with my old Audi A2 company motor on the day I was given it. I opened the boot with the remote control boot release, it only unlocks the boot. I dropped the key without realising and shut the boot. Hey presto keys locked in boot. Luckily it being at the office they had the spare. I...
